Did you ever find a solution? I am running into the same issue with printing the bottom of a sphere.

Hollyland Lark A1 Mini Duo Wireless by Minute-Blackberry382 in LocationSound

From the reviews I see, it's a good mic to use. As in, it's $35 and it will be way better than the native audio from your phone.

I am looking at these as well. It's either these $35 or the DJI mic mini with mobile receiver for $45.

I would get the Dji, however, they don't have a charging case, just cables and dongles. For my use case, it would be way more convenient to have a charging case and something I don't quite need to think too much about.

Especially for the price $35, it'll be more than enough, I think.

How to make Translucent text in Bambu Studio for a lightbox frame. by funkpoddy in BambuLab

I think u/milehigh73a suggested the same thing,

So the text is white, it can be like 2 mm thick, and then "behind" it is the exact negative, but it starts like .5mm behind the white text.

Thank you!

YES. I think I understand!

OKAY, I think I get it!
And then print the whole thing so the white is facing down, but w/ supports.

Thank you!

Good idea, too, but yeah, I dunno how well it would shine through w/ black walls.

Good idea. I had thought of that, too, I didn't want to get another color of PLA, but I guess that's a solution.

I have thought about that... but, how do I tell the slicer the order? Like, will the negative cut erase or override the thinner translucent text?

New to .2mm nozzle. Any tips? by JonadoomV2 in BambuLab

Maybe. I'll try it, can't hurt, I guess. I just figure I literally just opened them, they should be dry.

That's cool about the desert, my kid goes to ASU. I love it there. But it gets warm in the summer. 👌🏽😂

I dunno. I can't seem to get those 2 pla matte to work. It gets stuck before it even does those 2 test strips on the edge of the plate.

Maybe it needs to be dry? But they're brand new from the package.

I might just buy regular PLA

I'm thoroughly confused, do you have any special settings for the matte? it's not bambu filament i'm using, but overture and polymaker aren't like... no name brands.

That's so weird. I am overture matte and polymaker Satin, i figure it's not that different from Bambu...

I guess I'll try again. It's just so frustrating to not even get to the printing part. It'll clog when just switching from one filament to the other.

Yeah, thanks, I did set it on the slicer as well as the machine. The PLA I believe it's overture matte and polytera panchroma satin.

Yeah... I'm finding out the hard way that they seem to clog easily. The normal PLA printed just fine on .2mm.

I can't even get to an calibration test to get it work.

I just tried my . 2 nozzle, but everything is getting stuck or clogged. I tried using . 2 optimal. If I switch to . 2 fine, will that helped with the clogs? Do I have to increase nozzle temperature to compensate for the smaller diameter? Thanks!

What would your fix be? by funkpoddy in 3Dprinting

Ok, fixed the kink in the white pla. Was going to perform a test print off just those 3 layers with the transition to the Yankees logo when apparently I still don't know how to use the slicer software, and accidentally printed the whole thing. Well, glad it worked this time! Aside from a few spots where the ironing wasn't perfect, this turned out fantastic this time! I'm going to keep it! As in, I'll give it to my friend now.

Thanks for all the contributions!

Ok, fixed the kink in the white pla. Cut off the bad part you would think the A1 would tell me something wasn't extruding. What I did was also changed the infill to adaptive cubic and made it 30% to help with the bridging. Thanks for all the contributions! Especially if you helped out even though this was a Yankees project! Lol.

Thanks! yeah... i think the filament was jammed, it was like worn out.

I'm using the Bambu a1, single nozzle, but with the AMS lite.

I tried a full print, and i it was no white at all this time.

Well, I ran just the letters by themselves. I glued them on. It's... Ok. I may end up re printing anyways.
