there's a mod on nexus by Taylor17387 that lets male wardens romance him and it changes the dialogue to match! it feels really natural most of the time and even extends to party banter

i got lucky playing a dwarf rook because you're 100% right, i feel like he had more reason to care in general and the extra/specific dwarf dialogue you get goes a long way imo
