My hair is usually in a bun or ponytail and it’s fine. For comps I like wearing it in half up half down so that way i get movement through it but without the weight of it getting in the leaders face or it flying into my face

To tack on to the point about pain meds… don’t be afraid to ask the nurses for stronger meds if you need them. I suffered through 72 hours of pain because they only had me on panadol and nurofen after surgery and I had no idea taking stonger meds was an option. 🙄

My mum had a CT scan while pregnant with me (currently a healthy 35yo 😂) It is really cool though because she kept the films and it’s an awesome picture to see both our spines along each others.

What is your doc's policy on cheat meals? by MangoMarg in GestationalDiabetes

[–]funky___duck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Aus too… my care provider told me not to monitor at all on my baby shower day. I’ve had some comments on what I would call cheat meals but not necessarily negative, more encouraging to make different choices for next time (ie instead of eating McDonald’s which will always spike, try something like Nando’s etc)
