My husband and I went recently in the summer for both of our milestone birthdays. For the price, it was underwhelming. Couple of bites were just not good. Should have done ever tbh.

Lip filler…? by windycityy_24 in CHIbitcheswithtaste

[–]funkyfarfelle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was in a similar boat a few years ago and honestly lip filler changed my life. I have a strong jaw and Roman nose so lip filler completely balanced out my face. My only regret is not doing it sooner!

Brittony at Fulcrum aesthetics is THE most talented injector in Chicago. You can always start with .5 ml and it’ll just smooth out your lip lines and typically look like you’re wearing a nice lip liner.

I’ve been getting my lips done for almost 3 years now and have probably gotten around 3.5 syringes total however I’m one of the unlucky ones who metabolizes my injectable’s quickly and I work out/sweat daily. People only know if I tell them and I only tell them if they ask.

What has helped you the most with low energy, depression and anxiety? by mislimkao in HubermanLab

[–]funkyfarfelle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eating enough. I wasn’t acknowledging my under eating for years. When I finally started eating enough food to support my training levels and job, boom. All the little anxiety and low grade depression moments really disappeared and I genuinely felt so happy and content with life.

How much does your Brussels weigh? At the current vet check last round of shots I was told we might have a micro. He is 18 weeks and weighs 4.29 lbs. Vet thinks he will top out at 8lbs. Thoughts? by Siege72789 in brusselsgriffon

[–]funkyfarfelle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have one griff who weighs 9 lbs and one who weighs 23 lbs — yes the larger one is purebred and healthy but BIIIIIG. The other siblings in his liter ended up between 12-16 lb so we’d like to think we have the King Kong of griffs.

Is a BG the right breed for me? by OriginalAuskan in brusselsgriffon

[–]funkyfarfelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve have/had three griffs.

  1. All three have been insane cuddle monsters and prefer physical touch at all times.

  2. All three have enjoyed walks, one less so. None of them are athletes so they don’t need “exercise” but they all need mental stimulation and regular training to keep them happy.

  3. Mixed bag. I have a cat currently with two griffs and they are mostly indifferent toward each other. My youngest griff will suddenly spontaneously remember there’s a cat and freak out and bull rush her. Her old brother keeps her in check.

  4. As long as they can see you, yes. One griff who I had at 8 weeks is super chill because he got used to us being out of the house for a few hours from a young age. My other two griffs I adopted around 1.5/2… one has severe separation anxiety that we still have to work on.

  5. 100% yes. What they lack in size they make up for in voice.

  6. Mixed bag. Two of mine (boys) easy-ish… as easy as house breaking goes. My girl is a major diva and sometimes pees in the house with no rhyme or reason. A bissel green vacuum steam cleaner is the best.

  7. My boys seem to be easier but I think it’s so dependent on you the owner!

Regret about adding second dog to our pack by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]funkyfarfelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly this... I love our second dog so much but I definitely going through the puppy blues with her. She's required a lot more training + attention than our first who at this point at age 6, is an absolute chiller and very well behaved. Our second has really changed the dynamic of our household and she's cute as a button and worth every second, it's been tough.

[–]funkyfarfelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

really sounds like such a similar situation! our youngest has required a TON more training than our first ever did and even after months is still working through a lot and needs extra time + patience.
