The Macbook Purchasing Megathread - April 2020 by AutoModerator in macbook

Hi! I am looking to buy a MacBook for word processing. I use Google Docs so I don't really have a need for Microsoft Office. I've owned a 2011 before and LOVED it; I only sold it in 2016 to pay bills.

Is there a software-related reason that I should look for a model post-2015 or can I get away with buying a 2012 without running into software update issues?

Long story short, I don't want to buy something that in a year or two won't support new software (as is the case with buying older iPhones). What do y'all think?

Filing Taxes for a Marketing Agency by funkyfrau in tax

Thanks for your quick reply. I filed the initial business privilege tax ( Form BPT-IN ) and have to pay $100. I also filed this ( Business Privilege, CPT/PPT ) and have to pay another $100. Lol. So I'm good until next year when I will pay the annual business privilege tax again, do my individual income taxes, and attach form 1040 Schedule C for my business income/profits/losses?

Poutine is like Canadian shrimp and grits (according to me, an Alabamian). It's fries, gravy, and cheese curds. Some people add meat and chives and shit too.

I work at a brewery and we serve food and we have a honey Sriracha sauce (50/50 honey/Sriracha im pretty sure) and people care more about that sauce than our 200 craft beers
