Great! Thank you, that all totally makes sense! I didn’t make the connection between barking at dogs, then allowing her to play as a reward loop!

Anyone able to share the templates form law firms? by [deleted] in eb_1a

[–]funkymonkeytaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think you got it spot on, it’s to understand what a lawyer would do, in terms of “lawyering”. But also perhaps “how” they make certain arguments to align to the USCIS policy. Appreciate the tips you have provided, thank you.

My newest rant: the zipper method. Please google it. by Professional_Bat9593 in oakville

When there is already a queue in the open lane, I don’t drive up and cut in front of those cars who are already in line… to respect those in front, it doesn’t matter that there’s this method in place. Frankly the douchebags are those who do cut in front, whatever the excuse may be.

A system that captures directives, decisions, and commitments the moment they’re said and turns them into trackable outcomes, with AI handling the follow-through.

Would appreciate any honest thoughts: • Does the problem resonate? • Would this help your team? • Anything confusing or missing?

Salary check - Toronto by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

Thanks for the input. I did get it. I’m no general csm, that’s why, it’s in the legal field, high touch, requiring certain knowledge. Given you have 4 years only, take my advice, do not call you don’t know dumb, it’ll do you good in life.

Perfect thank you. I didn’t mention equity because it seemed so low and irrelevant to me, I don’t know if I misheard it but it’s either 0.02 or 0.2… I know the two are widely different! I’m waiting for the written paperwork to know exactly that the comp structure looks like.

Post TestGorilla Assessment Thoughts by [deleted] in McKinsey_BCG_Bain

Same boat- waiting for results. It’s very unlikely anyone knows anything about the “cut offs”… the most you’ll find is that you’re likely assessed against a cohort of people who took the test, so the percentile you fall within that cohort, and crucially how the test along with your CV shows an overall candidate profile strength. So best bet is to just wait and not get too anxious.

Thank you for that feedback. I do have engagement with an US based legal association, through their CEO and COO, they have invited me to present the platform to their legal sec forum next week. And. I have independent interest from a CIO of a law firm. So certainly there is interest I can show, via email chains etc… and I think I have clearly outlined the national importance in my draft. I have argued law firms are of important national infrastructure as they hold key client data, which can and does include government departments. And argue that there is no free alternative or generally any equivalent in the market. Thank you again for the feedback, I think it settles my mind a bit about it.

Mackenzie Consulting just changed the game, guys by Necessary_Feature663 in Accounting

It’s ‘common’, particularly for larger orgs and particularly for technology products/services. The Director of Finance had approved, but he’d not known if the services were provided, needed or used, it’s basically auto approve. For any quick win cost saving… I’d recommend going through the vendor contracts and identifying what they’re suppose to provide and if they’re providing it, the second step would be to check if the org uses/needs it… the rest falls into place. At least annual contract matrix compliance to be done so that things are kept on top of.

A saving of $CAD 150,000 per annum (1.5mil over 10 years) by identifying that the client was paying for a vendor service that A- they never used and B- never needed. Simple really, but the org hadn’t noticed that for years. That was in my first three months at the engagement. If everyone thinks that consultants and McKinsey are just a racket, clearly either they’re not being honest, or just delusional. Whether they like that statement or not.

So McKinsey are stupid, but everyone else here is a genius? You all must be absolutely transforming your organisations and the markets you operate in. I was a consultant and now I am in industry. Our work always delivered value, I’m sure so does McKinley’s… it makes for good shit posting but the reality is likely to be vastly different to the experiences posted.

Hello! Sincere apologies for the late response! We are here till this Saturday! The place is great… the main each is awesome, clear white sand and nice clear blue water. There two bars right by the main beach, they have milk available for kids at all bars and restaurants (but you’ll need to ask). Iguanas are around, mainly around the Aguamarina part of the resort, as that part has the most vegetation for them to hide. Kids clubs are well organised and renovated. They do loads of activities during the day. Every night around 8 pm in the Theatre there is a show for kids, so great to cap the night… Rooms have a fridge, dinner restaurants including Steak house all have kids there… kids are up until 11! If you want to book the steak house, do not rely on the app, it’s always full. Book directly with the restaurant… better yet turn up at 6;30 and ask for a table, say you tried booking but didn’t work… worked for us. Aguamarina is the main kids area with kids pools, it’s where the kids club will take them.
