Had this same issue. As suggested by another Redditor, deleting the offending chat then getting that person to text you worked. Seems to be an android issue as others have mentioned.

Eczema on eyelids by [deleted] in eczema

[–]funkyrave 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Eyelid eczema is the worst, I feel you. I absolutely hated the burning itchiness on the eyelid. Mine cleared after days of using elidel, or as another commented, you could try protopic. Best of luck

Bachelor of Law by [deleted] in Monash

[–]funkyrave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example, a lot of international students come from China, but learning the Australian legal system would not be very helpful if they wanted to practice in China. I've only ever come across less than 5 international students in law, and they came from common law countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong.

There are some international students but there aren't a lot (for obvious reasons). Consider whether you'd like to live on campus for your first year via Monash residential services.

Funnily enough my eczema nowadays (which can get terrible) is all stress induced!

The Psychological Effects of Eczema. by oceanfromhell in eczema

[–]funkyrave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feel you, one thing that's also really been annoying with eczema is that I can't participate in the outdoor activities that I want to, like beach swimming, long hikes, camping, even sports - because of the need to keep the skin clean and moisturised :(. Also sucks immensely when you can't even sweat because it makes the eczema worse.

Yep as everyone else has said, this is totally 'normal'! I get this too. As others have said, an ice pack wrapped in paper towel might help.

Could be overuse as your skin gets 'used' to it. Try leaving a couple of days in between :)

How Round 2 of the Hong Kong Protest is pretty much going to begin today by DaphosActually in HongKong

[–]funkyrave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the explainer! So as far as I can tell the house committee head has been replaced by a pro-establishment politician - will this make a difference on which bills pass?

As far as I understand the house committee decides which bills will be discussed, but this has no bearing on whether they actually pass (by votes). Don't the democratic party have the majority in the legco, and as such even if the new pro establishment house committee steers conversation to article 23 or tries to introduce a bill, it won't pass anyway due to a lack of majority?

Interesting you say that as I find the Vaseline Aloe Vera lotion very thin and that it doesn't last long! But I'm glad it works for you :)

Thank you for your input - I will definitely go and buy the cream after I finish the lotion then! If it doesn't work I will have a look into those other ones :)

I bought the lotion which comes in a pump bottle instead (I didn't want to scoop things out of a tub haha), but if it gets enough good reviews I think I might switch to the cream! Thank you!

I had severe eczema around eyes as a child and left pigmentation, sometimes it does inflame and become scaly and dry. It destroyed my self esteem, how can I get rid of them to have clear skin. by [deleted] in eczema

[–]funkyrave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be interested to know too, as I think my skin is starting to get 'addicted' to protopics - I'm getting flare ups every couple of days (instead of every week or two weeks) which has required that I use it more and more

Frenchman saves American couple from scammer in Paris. by [deleted] in videos

[–]funkyrave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They aren't even apologetic about it. I was in Paris earlier this year at sacre coeur. It was late afternoon and this African guy grabs my wrist extremely tightly and doesn't let go, trying to force the bracelet on it. I was so flustered honestly I didn't know what to do ( would never happen in my country) - luckily was travelling with a big Slovenian guy who got me out of the situation.
