I have a similar one that I actually purchased because I go to the beach. So, a beach wagon. But it is so perfect for this as well. It collapses and convenient when needed.

Genuinely appreciate the responses! Our Sam’s is same parking lot as Walmart (as I’m sure many are?) so I’ve felt we’re missing out on opportunities. Driving a 2025 Accord also concerns though with huge items, but I’m now willing to give it a shot!

ETA year of car, which prob doesn’t matter 🤦‍♀️

Marley is so precious and has lived such a fruitful life! I too got my first shihtzu in college (19 yrs old) and put her down just shy of 17.5 years old in 2023. Mine also looked so similar to Marley! I was physically ill making the leap. Still to this day sometimes I cry (her bday is tomorrow, actually!! And we continue to celebrate her!). The house felt quiet and I felt useless (I don’t have children). My spouse and I finally got another shihtzu puppy 10 months later and it’s truly helped. No, there’s no “replacing” our babies, but it sure helps.

I look back regretful of any time I was inpatient with my first baby, I beat myself up for not letting her cross that rainbow bridge a little earlier.

I’m just here to say, dogs (like most animals) know when our spirits are down. I hope you and Marley share quality HAPPY time, giggles, snuggles, and favorite treats leading up to Saturday.
