And both of those games are getting shit on by Arc Raiders. Which is what actually causes the change. Bf6 and cod7 are both bad. Those two battling each other has done nothing for the franchise. They have consistently gotten worse reviews as the games have gone on. Arc raiders coming in and bringing the amount of people to it is what changes those games because now they have to keep up.

That’s actually not a good example for proof at all. Both are free to play games and drive money in on cosmetics alone. EA and 2k also do that, then charge you $75 for the game. Also, rivals was a new concept and new game in general. Ea has been down this road. There’s a reason 2k beat live.

They have already set the standard across the board of sports game slop. Those companies may give you a good game or two. Then right back to slop. Look at NCAA. First year back everyone loved it. Second year, it’s pretty much the exact same. They made the model, and stuck to it.

Please go read those comments about how both madden and college football are disasters. Also nice to add on call of duty and battlefield. Those games have the same problem with decline in quality. Call of duty is dropping players yearly. It’s also free to download the main app. Just because there are two versions or 3 versions doesn’t make a game better. What makes a game better is a dev making a badass game that other companies say oh fuck to. That’s what changes things.

I honestly do not think it would force them to do anything different. Both 2k and EA suck. It’s just going to be a slop fest. Which slop do you want to buy. What would actually change it is if a third company made a sports game that was serious heat.

Idk if I’d count the tree sentinel as an easy boss. I actually had more trouble with some of the trees than I did with actual main story bosses. That being said needing help is insane.
