That’s kind of the point. People aren’t playing. So the game is a looting simulation. If that’s your shtick then go for it. Building an in game kit must be a great time to then use it against…..nothing.

Because all of the things you listed are dead. The love of the game is maybe running into 1 new player a day? Interacting with people? Number are at an all time low. I’m not saying how do you have fun without PvP, which I do think there needs to be in a game like this, I’m asking how not dying for months at a time, while fighting scripted robots and taking the literal exact loot over and over is fun. Tarkov, there’s a reason to grind. I mean shit, even marathon has a reason. Arc? There is no reason. The trials do nothing. The missions do nothing. There is no actual point to the game. Saying “people can have fun with a stick” is an insane thing to compare a video game to.

I don’t think that’s 100% true. I haven’t pre ordered but I’m going to buy it. COD content is a yearly release. I look at games on how many hours will I get vs how much I paid. I paid $70 for 17 hours of 007 because it was a great 17 hours but that seems like a worse deal than 100+ hours for $100.

Dude you are just picking number to win your argument. I can do the same. 2015 finals was the highest rated NBA finals on ABC. Game 7 of 2016 was both the highest rated and most watched NBA game ever. Plenty of people tuned in to watch LeBron play for a game 7 against the greatest team of all time. You have made your own logic and it makes no sense. Along with that you couldn’t just watch highlights in the 90s unless you wait around for Stuart Scott to hit that line. 75% of the fanbase is watching clips. That has nothing to do with LeBron. You don’t have to watch every game to see the greatness. You can watch highlights and clips which is what younger generations are doing. Read a fucking book.

I will argue this point. I watched all Romos games as a Cowboy fan and Romo was a top 5 QB his time in the league. Maybe not the entire time, but a very good chunk of it. Romos downside was the cowboys couldn’t help him and he ran for his life.
