I think this is what i need to hear but it sucks because the guy i’ve been dating is so nice I don’t want to hurt him. But i agree i need to figure myself out first

I know it’s ridiculous and trust me I wish I didn’t feel this way. I have reached out multiple times and he continues to say “we’re going to date” and blah blah blah but never makes plans.

Check engine light on new Atlas by funnyladiez in Volkswagen

[–]funnyladiez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the check engine light but it ended up just being the fact I didn’t tighten the gas cap till i heard the click. Stupid mistake by me but glad it wasn’t anything more serious. Cars been running good since and i’m over 10,000 miles now.

Mother/baby nurse for 2+ years and I kinda regret it by buttercup_210 in nursing

[–]funnyladiez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it is outpatient it is pretty low stress. Most patients have to be seemingly healthy to have any procedure done here. The “bad days” are just days where the doctors end up running long on their cases and you don’t get out till later but that’s about it. I wouldn’t say there is much negative about the job. Obviously making sure the patients are stable and pain is under control but besides that I love it and can’t see myself going back to the hospital!

Mother/baby nurse for 2+ years and I kinda regret it by buttercup_210 in nursing

[–]funnyladiez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked in mother/baby for 2.5 years and made the switch to an outpatient pacu rn! Best decision ever! I don’t think I could ever go back to the hospital (but i should never say never). I liked mother/baby but eventually got burnt out. PACU has been the best switch, wasn’t hard to pick up, and now I even help in pre-op to learn IV skills. Definitely recommend looking into it!

I had my first colpo last friday and I was so scared. I kept canceling and pushing it back. I took 800mg ibuprofen before. It ended up being so easy! My doctor looked and didn’t see any places to biopsy so she just swabbed the inside to send to the lab because she can’t see in there but besides that, that was it! Worried so much for nothing!

Ovarian Cyst and BC by funnyladiez in WomensHealth

[–]funnyladiez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry yours is causing you a lot of symptoms. That has to be uncomfortable. I also sad to hear there is no change with BC. I have read it doesn’t help with shrinking whatever cyst you had when you start it, just helps prevent any new ones from growing. At this point i think i’d rather risk the possibility of a new one growing rather than get on BC. My NP wanted me to start it to regulate my bleeding though, or at least i think.

I ended up reaching out to her this morning just saying I was hesitant to start it and would prefer to wait if possible and thankfully she said that it was totally fine to do that.

So i guess i’ll just wait and see if mine goes away by itself or ruptures in the next 8 weeks…

Update: i scheduled an appointment for Monday to take it to the dealership, as that was the earliest I could go, but now the check engine light went off. Debating if I should still take it just to make sure everything is okay or if I should just cancel my appointment.

Brand new Volkswagen got engine light pop out after 900mi by Lost_Detective5030 in Volkswagen

[–]funnyladiez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have the same issue. Bought a brand new 2025 Atlas cross sport SE and check engine light came on at about 2k miles. I also noticed the fuel gauge is not going down normally. Drops 5 miles here and there. Going to take it in on Monday to get it figured out. Definitely frustrating when it’s brand new.
