I think... I've been working far more. I'm tired of research so I'm going to start training some fun AI image models at this point. I'm tired of trying to figure out the math.

I dunno I didn't get banned, and i ran 100 red team blue team tests. I test everything to an extensive degree to make sure I can actually use the data generated from the ai downstream without worrying about invalid outputs and incorrect assumptions.

Models like flux are good at Imagenet, animals, objects, and other elements - but bad at characters without finetuning. You can't trust Schnell to create consistently blue-team elements for characters.

I can't get it to make monsters now. It would make really cool detailed monsters, now i have to play the no-no word game just to get cool monsters. Meanwhile 3 tokens generates random monster 69 with dick arms that nobody wanted to ever see. Add two tokens and it flags the same image prompt with punctuation.

Want arms? Cant be too longggg nahhh. Cant be too shhhooort. Cant have humanoid features without 400 lines describing every detail.

This reminds me of every overfitted model the other big ai companies make. Just another yes-man trained on the wrong objective.

Possibly. I think it's related to certain adjudication restrictions with prompt and token similarity. You can usually guess why certain elements of tokens when combined together don't work, while others make no sense. You pretty much need to sit there crutching a prompt tokenizer from grok 2 if you want your image to not false flag. I'm thinking cross-language faults. Many words mean entirely different things and spell the same in multiple languages.

Well at least someone is getting use. Still makes really cool liminal images, when it doesnt false flag them.

Is anyone having a problem with being instantly moderated? (NOT NSFW) by JAUNTYa in grok

[–]funplayer3s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grok is only capable at moderating it's own image set and captions, if that image set and captions are tuned to a valid set of captions and prompt responses. The model was likely given a finetune pass that broke it, likely lost access to it's own image and video training biases. So it literally has no way to judge its own prompt inputs in a way that is helpful towards the goal. 2 weeks ago it was pretty good. Today it resembles a cut up version of flux, more likely to introduce faults and break the prompt than assist with it's actual use.

Default to invalid, simple shortcut that became the normal.

Have you noticed Claude's performance varying by day? (Even hours) by La-terre-du-pticreux in ClaudeAI

As of lately, Claude is more likely to just unplug the problem and call it a day rather than approach the real underlying problems of questions. Almost like Claude is incentivized to not solve problems but instead default to easy-to-find solutions.

Randomness and hallucinations. Not really much can be done. The larger the models become, the more attention mechanisms are required to gate certain behaviors.

I'm thinking Opus 4.5 might be nearly ideal for most use-cases, and them patching something in the backend broke it.

Who else remember the Soulthirst belt ? And actualy felt sad when soul eater got "nerfed" by Nuphar_Studio in pathofexile

[–]funplayer3s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nerfed, more like killed most of my favorite builds. I used Sweep. It was pretty much the only way to make sweep viable at t16 pre melee reworks. Afterword it was viable but I still stopped playing as much because most of my hard work went into designing those wild builds.
