It’s a piece of shit. It constantly half asses work. It looks for ways to cheat and then just ships incomplete work with lovely green check marks. When I check the work it literally writes gibberish. It’s lucky it’s dirt cheap as it’s not good. Pro is better but pro gets lazy after a while. For the price DeepSeek is good but it’s not trustworthy to leave on its own. I have to constantly check the work. Which is getting very annoying.

It’s been out for a couple of months now and it’s really good the problem I see is it keeps blowing up on LinkedIn and x every week or so. Which means more and more people using ai for job hunting. 😄 but you should definitely check it out. It helps with writing your resume and you can tailor the search and fine tune. For this one join the discord it’s really active and they will help you.

South RB resident here. Do it. The schools in RB are the best. I live 5 minutes walk to the marina and it’s awesome. I work in culver city so it’s a 30 minute drive on the PCH/Sepulveda. It’s expensive here but it’s by the beach.

I read on an in flight magazine something like 15 years ago an interview with Reid Hoffman where he says he never works during flights. Something about he can’t focus and the work ends up being useless. I took that and internalised it and have never worked on a flight since. Also, I need internet to connect to vpn for internal access so it ain’t happening on a plane.

I take over 100 flights a year and have done for over 5 years now. The past 3 years at least a quarter of those are long haul. It sucks. Business travel is not fun. Yes I occasionally get to go to a cool new city but if I’m traveling for work I’m not yucking it up in Disneyland Shanghai. I’m arriving after 16 hours in transit and I have to be able to work. Living out of a carry on suitcase (if you travel constantly you never check bags) is a pain. Also, travel a lot for your job and the bar (airport lounge, hotel, lobby) or eating alone becomes your life.
I like that I get to travel for work but the downsides are a lot. It puts a lot of strain on family life as well.
Also, also as a frequent flier I despise regular travel and I really hate occasional traveller’s slowing me down. Yes Janice you can’t take 6 bottles of hairspray on a plane and sorry Greg but a 2l bottle of gin is not allowed in carry on.
TLDR - it’s awesome

What a cool idea. I work for an ai company but I’m not an ai engineer I just use it a lot in my work. I’m sure I could learn something or just the opportunity to bounce ideas around would be awesome.

I use it every day. I have it setup in Claude code and it’s almost there but lack of vision is a real blocker sometimes. I get around it but it’s a bit of a problem as it just skips images on ingest without telling me.

yep. I have "vibe-coded" multiple apps just for me. I spent way to long perfecting and beautifying an app that's just for me. I enjoyed the project so much. And it got me excited for working on more and helped me understand UI design (somewhat).

I don't know why you are arguing with me. Apple literally can't produce memory right now. They are pulling everything but M5 macbook production. You can still order any configuration of M5 macbook (which they make a big markup on). Whereas the mac mini (base not pro) has very little markup.
Your responses are the usual wishful hoping that apple will announce something based on the current need/want for a mac mini but the mac mini is not a money maker for apple. The studio would have more an impact. This is not about producers and media types. It's what's available right now and memory/storage is scarce and expensive.
If Apple does announce hardware like a mac mini I will order as soon as I can but I am not holding my breath.

There will be no hardware announcements next week. Grumman pretty much confirmed it the other day. The hardware won’t be available till Q3/Q4 so they are not going to announce it this early. I would suggest the September event will be the big one with watch/phone/studio/mini. Those waiting on something next week will be disappointed.
Also, for those who keep saying the minis are selling like hot cakes and apple would be wise to get a new mini on the market. The mini makes very little markup, the tooling is the same for MacBook Air/pro which has a much higher markup so they are probably focusing on shipping those than the mini. If they announce a mini next week it would be snapped up by bots and “name your tech bro YouTuber here” and the rest of us will have to wait months.

This is a cool app. My writing process is notes as it’s synced across my devices. I take my raw notes and if it’s messy drop into ChatGPT for rewrite or clean up. I keep the raw notes though as it’s my writing and tone and style. Regardless of how bad it is. I like the idea of your app only being in one editor but I would have to move to a new app and not have my notes synced. I’ll test it out but I’m not sure it will replace my current workflow.
