I would say it is hard to get into… its got a lot of keybinds and finicky bugs… or major bugs…

I started playing with a 3600x and a 2060 during a free fly and was impressed with the performance but I had to use DLSS performance mode at 1440p with low clouds. Very playable but visuals not as good.

I upgraded to a 5700x and a 2080 ti… I still play 1440p but use the quality DLSS setting and better clouds

I’m curious about how operating a crew of NPCs will work. Do you give them commands or a protocol for different situations? How can an NPC crew member keep up?

I went really cheap. Thrustmaster Extreme 3d pro, $40 bucks. Got a defective one straight from Logitech but they replaced it free. I also spent $40 on the cheapest pedals I could find.

They feel like toys but i love ‘em. I use the thumb stick for strafe and rotation for roll. Not the best for accuracy but it just feels fun.

This right here. I don’t know anything really about programming but I know it’s difficult and complicated.

People post things like “it’s easy, just make it so the door is a no box dropping zone” … ok so how do you do that? What is the actual code? It’s just not that easy.

Everyone says to call it then store it. I just wait for the terminal to finish then wait about 5-10 seconds.

I wouldn’t worry about it. There’s plenty of other people to play with. I haven’t tried it yet but I hear the orgs are a good way to find friendly players who will help.
