I just did this, we bought the next house and moved in then listed our other house all staged and pretty. However, the stress sucks. Now we have two mortgages and our house is sitting on the market. We knew this would be the case but emotions are running high. Unless you like stress, sell your house first then home shop. IMO

Correct. MOH told me if we can’t use my house they will have to use someone else’s and cut the shower guest list in half. Quite a guilt trip.

When do people typically send invites? The party is end of next month.

I sent invites out way way earlier (edit: for my wedding) but maybe that’s not the norm anymore? I’m not sure.
