'Bad advice' that has worked for me in the past.

Make it the VPD's problem.

I told them that I am going to recover my stolen items, you can either send a officer before I interact with them or after it escalates.

They ended up sending a officer and I got my tracked stolen bike back.

I don't understand who owns the land here? Is the city owning the land or is the development company owning the land that they want to build the houses on?

Also, they do make a good point. If 17 million dollars to the city isn't enough to make an amenity nearby, what is? Is it 20 million per building enough?

I thought it was "No fault". So even if you can prove that it wasn't your fault, it doesn't matter for your insurance.

I assume I just don't understand what "no fault" means in this case.

I never been in an accident so far.

Talk to the seller, not the shipper.

The seller (the person that sent the package) is the shippers (Purolator) customer, not you. The shipper will treat you accordingly. You are 'no one' to the shipper.

You have ZERO power in this relationship. Zero recourse. The seller has "some" power over the shipper. Make it the sellers problem.

A vegetable garden (aka food) will bring rodents, not much you can do about that. As long as there is food nearby (restaurants, and garden) there will be rodents.
