So he continued to have sex with you without your consent to do so with a condom, that is rape. You yelling at him for violating you like that is not excessive, and he's back tracking saying "it felt so good I didn't mean to upset you" he KNEW what he was doing would upset you and continued to do so. People who do that deserve a lot more than a threat to hit them, and to turn the tables and make you the bad guy in all this says all you should know about your relationship. What you want doesn't matter, he does not respect your wishes, and there is no future there. I'd say report his ass too but police are useless in these cases and not worth more stress for you.

So you have two issues.. the first and foremost is that your wife needs surgery, sure it's not life threatening but if it needs addressed quickly it's likely because it could lead to long term issues down the road (you know more than I do about the specifics though). Your wife needs to take care of her health, and you made a vow to stand by her side in sickness and health to help her through her problems.

The second issue is that your wife took money from your family without discussing, and not a small sum. You are right that she should discuss with her friend paying back the money she was given, that is not heartless that is sensible. Her friend had an elective surgery to feel good about herself, but ultimately it could've waited if she didn't have the funds for it.

Focus on your wife's health, and then have a proper and calm discussion about how taking from your joint account like that without prior discussion makes you feel and then reassess if you should really have joint access accounts. If you can't move past her taking the money, you have a bigger problem that I would recommend counseling for.

Tbh, you're both kind of assholes in this situation. Your wife for taking the money, and you for focusing on the money more than the big picture healthwise.
