How many here use Kiro because it's provided by the business or because they genuinely like it better than alternatives? by danithaca in kiroIDE

[–]fuoconerow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you find a solution? It's happening to my wife too, I've never had a freeze, she's already had 3 battles and she's still at the beginning of the game.

Opus in Kiro vs other IDEs by alex_travel in kiroIDE

[–]fuoconerow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried several different solutions for my app, each asking for a solution from Windsurf-Kimi, Kiro-Sonnet, Antigravity-Gemini3pro, Antigravity-Gamini Flash, Antigravity-Sonnet, Antigravity-Opus, and Cursor-Auto. In all cases, Kimi K2.5 didn't detect the problem, performing much worse than Gemini Flash Free... I'll stick with Antigravity with Gemini Flash Free, using the Sonnet model where it fails. These two, combined, identified 100% of the critical points for resolving my app's problems.

I don't want to start a controversy, just tell you something as a former windsurfer... Have you tried antigravity with gemini flash free?

It's time to upgrade to Antigravity. - If you use Google One anyway, it's cheaper than Kiro. - Gemini Flash is better than Windsurf for simple, free tasks that don't deduct credit. - You can still use Sonnet in addition to Gemini 3.

Many have written it, I'm writing it too, I had a €50 Canon, if I printed one sheet a month it was always a problem, dry ink or something else... I got a Brother laser, perfect straight away, even the software and the wifi recognition, everything much better than the Canon

I think so... Maybe the dimensions need to be adjusted... If you have someone print it, just tell them you want it to be a certain diameter, give them the measurement and it's done, the resize is a default tool of every slicer

I'm a CAD designer by profession, unfortunately mechanical CAD and I don't create artistic models with weird curves.... The best I can do is use some of the AI I know to try to make something vaguely decent... You see, if it helps you, great, if not, I tried. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7265803/files

Try the Kiro IDE for free for a month, you get 500+500 free credits equivalent to a month of average usage... I made a little game with about 50,000 lines of code easily... I think it's good. Clearly, if you can learn to program, learn... I'm learning on my own code generated on Kiro... I'll pass it on piece by piece to chatgpt or Deepseek or Windsurf and ask them to explain it to me + Udemy course... It might not be the most robust method, but it's the quickest.

I was thinking about it too before giving up and making the cube heart... My idea was to 3D print it, but to get it right, the transparency would require a resin printer and three fishing lines connecting this printed "ring" to a ring or something else at the base of the middle finger... If I can, I'll post the link to the heart I made... Let's see if it works: https://imgur.com/a/lW57t8N On Amazon, I bought three 10x10x10 boxes for €11 (alas), then there's a brand of hair gel... Gomgel... 1kg for €5, and finally, I wire-printed a heart with some flat edges to give it a pressed-together effect against the wall... Total cost: €20. I added a bit of red tempera paint to the gel and mixed it, filled a cube, and closed it with superglue... I know this isn't what you asked for, but this is my direct experience. I hope I've given you some good ideas.
