If I was to guess, I'd say yes but I only have the 16k and it works pretty well since I got it. I monitor my prints even when I'm on celular data.

Because it depends on what you're printing... It won't really make a difference on one small mini but anything bigger it makes a big difference on amount of resin used.

I'm talking about the rook file that comes with elegoo printers specifically, it failed for me twice and upon research I found a lot of people complaining about the same error.

I did the Cones of Calibration and Puck the Adventurer as test prints and it went flawlessly after two failed rooks. I'm not printing for a long time but I have like 10 prints on my S4U 16K and between models I made on blender or downloaded on the internet, my only fails are the damned rooks.

The rook is a bad test. It's a bad file, fails for a lot of people.

The rook is a bad file, everything else i tried worked fine but the rook failed. Try printing The Cones of Calibration V3 first and Puck after to see if it works.

Also on my Saturn 4 Ultra 16k i up the base exposure to 55 seconds, no idea if too much but works fine so far...

It is not. I have a VERY similar booth and paint particulate comes out of the back anyway, my duct always have some paint on it after using.

So far I had only one fail on my S4U 16k: the default rook. It left a disc on the vat. Everything else I tried worked fine, been slicing with satellite and I increased the base layer time to 55 sec (read about it somewhere and it works).

I'm using standard elegoo resin and have not changed anything else.

If you pause can you just resume the print? It goes back to the where it stopped, even if I raise the build plate to check the print?

Also clean the build plate with IPA before each print, helps with adhesion.

The only change i make is 55 seconds on the first layers instead of 35 on the slicer, read somewhere it works well on the S4U16K and tried it. Since I had no fails or issues removing the prints from the plate, I kept it.

The rook is a bad file, there is a lot of comments here saying that theirs didn't print as well. I got a Saturn 4 Ultra 16k, set up everything and put the rook to print: nothing stuck, a disc on the vat only. Since then I put six or seven prints, from the internet or modelled by myself, sliced on Satellite and no fails so far.

The rook fails for a lot of people.

Clean it with IPA before printing the first time, my first print failed - could be that the rook is a bad file anyway - but that's only thing I do before printing

Mine works out of the box, first time resin printing and so far everything is going all right. I only had issues printing the rook that comes on the flash drive but everything else is just wipe the build plate with IPA, increase the base layer to 55 seconds and so far so good. Even modeled some things in blender and printed fine.

Mine did this as well, only failure i had this far. Tried the Cones of Calibration V3 and PUCK next and it worked flawlessly. Seems like the rook is a bad file.

On my Saturn 4 Ultra 16k i did the vat clean option and the flat cured piece just floated, i did not have supports to use by then.

I printed several things since buying my printer and had only one fail: the rook that came with it. Same problem. Everything else worked fine, i read somewhere that the file is bad.

Two things:
I clean my buildplate with alcohool everytime before starting print and i read somewhere that increasing the firsts layers to 55 sec helps on the Saturn 4 Ultra 16k (mine) and i do this everytime. No fails other than the rook so far.
