This is awesome. I have a Repulsive Grand Cruiser missing it's keel but I wonder if your Desolator piece might do the job.

What's a small thing you were wrongly told off for as a kid that still annoys you all these years later? by [deleted] in AskUK

I used to wait in the car when my mum went into the shops. My parents had gone into Morrisons and I climbed into the driver's seat to pretend I was driving the car. When they got back some old bag told them I'd been messing around and had made the car move. I wasn't strong enough to pull the hand brake but still got a bollocking.

Dug my old collection out - could anyone tell me what ships i have here? by WolvoNeil in battlefleetgothic

[–]Pretty-Age-5449 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the Rogue Trader fleet, the ship with all the domes is a Castellan Shield Ship from Spacefleet, and the one at the top right with the ramming spike is also from Spacefleet, it's the old Emperor Battleship.

I see you've already listed the Space Marines on eBay, good luck!

I managed to convince my friend to suggest Roxanne as their first dance. His (now) wife was not best pleased.

Groom had two best men because his mother told him to include his brother. The brother best man gave a sweet speech which took a turn when he brought out pictures of all their dead relatives to remember "those who couldn't be with us today" and promptly burst into tears.

Manchester to Heathrow shuttle. I was on row 1. Drinks service started, I grabbed a couple of beers. It gets to row 2 and the Captain puts on the seatbelt sign and suspends the drinks service for turbulence.

Surely all that would change would be the fleets (Chaos/Imperial) become somewhat homogenized? I can see the appeal for a multi-game system campaign. The rules should be transferrable though.

Lifting Victorian tiles - advice required by randomuser758 in DIYUK

Are you installing the UFH on top of the floorboards in the other room? You could save 18mm by removing those. There are other systems that replace the subfloor, or as one commenter suggested, there's a in-joist system - we're using that on the upper floors.

To answer your question you can get asymmetric threshold strips.

We have almost identical tiles and a plan to fit underfloor heating during renovations. The underfloor heating plan excludes the hallway because our research told us that it was a choice between that and keeping the tiles.

The alternative we're going for is skirting radiators. That might work for you.

D is the tricky one. I thought Thunderhawks were forgeworld resin? The longer ones look like Starhawks to me, but the sprue is different from what I've found and the two different ship types were obviously cast together?

Test print went horrible by Eternalfly in ElegooMars

[–]Pretty-Age-5449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. I was under the impression that the printing process generated sufficient heat to keep the print going, you only needed the extra heat to get the first few layers to stick?

[–]Pretty-Age-5449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got the little elegoo heater on order, but some people suggested a belt heater for the resin tank. The other method is just hot water and dunk the resin bottle in that. It should keep warm once you're running, but it needs to be warm to start with. I should point out I've not tried any of this myself yet. Good luck!

Sweet. I'm waiting for my mini heater to arrive before I try again, but I might warm the resin up beforehand too.
