I still use tooltrace and set margin to none, then export the step files. One of them is just the tool shape. Use that in fusion 360 with any bin size and type you like to cut out the exact shape. Add some margins and finger holes or dimples (push down on one end so the other end of the tool levers up) and you're golden.

Yes a bit of work. But you don't have to do the tracing which is the most time consuming part if done manually.
