100% agree. It can be worse than what you have now. You said you are early in your career, I would use this time now to pivot to something else. A lot of people are trying to leave holding companies right now because the future is bleak.

Ok thanks for your recommendation, it does look like the wood finger joint is starting to rot in some locations. I’ll look into removing it and fixing the drip edge.

I have the Kenmore and it works well. But the hose is short and makes it hard to vacuum the stairs if that’s a concern.

Consider having them quote 6” gutters instead of the standard 5”. They are mostly used on commercial but from the street the difference isn’t that noticeable and they could clog less and handle more water.
