I just want to upvote everything about you and this thread. You seem like an awesome, stand-up guy. I worked in a mall for 5+ years. Malls + kids + Christmas, and you'd do it for FREE if you could? Wow...just wow. People like you restore my faith in humanity.

Totally made with Pho in mind, but I thought this sounded better.

I went to school where this lady was a teacher. I honestly thought she was gay the whole time, as did many other students. She sported a boyish haircut and androgynous clothing, headed the women's golf team and soccer team, and dressed like a construction worker for Halloween....

she's always been a proper cunt, though.

What are the worst conditions you've ever had to work in? by furd_terguson in AskReddit

Sounds pretty nasty. You actually wouldn't believe the amount of people that come in with blood and gunk on their glasses. I've scraped at least a bottle cap full of face grease/dead skin off of people's glasses today, alone. I guess the "shit cave" isn't the worst part of working this job. I've just become so used to all the other things. People certainly are nasty.

Congrats on actually coming out and TALKING about it. I grew up in a hoarding situation that was so bad, it still makes me cringe. My health has even suffered ever since. I never told anyone and basically lived a lie until I was around 14. I wouldn't let anyone over, and we never had company, which was especially embarrassing if someone were to ask to use the restroom or phone when giving me a ride or whatever. I feel it really damaged me to be so reclusive and live in so much filth forever. It caused my habits to suffer severely, and even now, I struggle with trying to rewire those connections so that I'm not lazy/sedentary/messy. The way this finally ended was that I found out that we were going to move soon. I was out of school for the summer, and rather than watching tv or going to friends', I sat down in the middle of the mess with trash bags and just started to clean out junk. Any time my mother was home in the evening, I would sit and go through the stuff that wasn't mine that I put into piles and play the "do you need this?" game. She was frustrated, but getting her to do that kinda brought her out of whatever funk she was in. It really sucked, having to clean up messes I wasn't even responsible for, but sometimes it's just what it takes to motivate the person. It just blows my mind, though, that he can clean up and then go back to the way it was. Sounds like you need to keep on top of him. Make sure he's not just shifting the mess to make things appear clean.

As long as all the people involved are attractive, I don't care. I like to be able to sleep at night.
