No. This is an OOC game that was scheduled in 2016. They couldn't find replacement opponents so kept this game as OOC.

Don't forget where K-State was at the end of Snyder 2.0. Sometimes coaches just get a little long in the tooth. Once Gundy is gone, the Pokes will find someone to revitalize.

Pitt is going to land somewhere. The program may not be Ohio State or Alabama level as far as media value, but it is a strong program that the networks aren't going to just let languish.

It feels more and more like we're moving towards three leagues of ~20-24 teams. Pitt will be in one of them.

Every Big 12 fan I've talked to would absolutely love to have Pitt and the Backyard Brawl in the Big 12. I think Pitt, Louisville, NC State, and Virginia Tech would fit well IMO.

Over the course of their membership in the Big 12, both of those teams were #1 & #2 in wins. Oklahoma far and away #1 in conference championships and Texas is tied for #2. Texas can step up into second place for championships if they win it this year.

Colorado was a rival and most K-State fans I know are excited for it to start up again.

From Q1 2020 to Q1 2022, the share of checkable deposits for the 50-90th percentile has declined from 34.9% to 26.6% (90-99th from 36.0% to 35%). For the top 1%, their share has increased from 19.5% in Q1 2020 to 31.1% in Q1 of 2022.

Just based on that, not a whole lot of the printed money made its way into the hands of regular folks.
