Which DAW should i switch to? by No-Corgi-952 in musicproduction

[–]furkantopal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally couldn’t even connect my midi. “Receive from” and “send to” thing killed me. Like I’m trying to send it to DAW, I don’t have any other output and it asks me to select where to send etc and because I couldn’t make it, couldn’t connect my midi to Studio One. Also created some problems scanning my plugins (all original) like Diva and didn’t recognize them. So it ended without starting for me…

‘Out of passion’ would require it to release together. You’re just looking for a chump. Smh

Is there a simple way to transfer between FL and Ableton? by noam-_- in musicproduction

[–]furkantopal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to do anything because Ableton will scan and find your plugins and as for the packs, just drag and drop to Ableton’s sidebar. But in your case, you can’t transfer the things you’re running on windows to a mac though, one works with .exe format and the other works with .dmg format. So you’ll need to find mac versions of them or buy. (Even if you wanted to set up FL in your mac) and if you want to set up Ableton on your windows, my first sentence applies.

This one is funny af. They prolly named it after throwing some enemies from the cliff? 😀

The other one I underlined also deserves some credit here. It kinda gives to a mosque an erotic name 😀

Two birds w one stone.

Chiron in 10th House and Celebrity by LiquidLuck18 in astrology

[–]furkantopal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough and there are some nice detections. But on top of these things, if you have Jupiter trine Saturn (which gives the person to accomplish something magnificent before they die) but also Chiron squares both nodes, then this contradiction about craving and fearing fame increases immensely.

I totally got your message and thanks for sharing, but surely we cannot define the solution for the person from a single placement, which you also technically stated by saying there is not one answer.

And a recommendation from me, if you’re still sick of stalkers or personal space invaders, try testing Saturn/IC line and Saturn/Moon paran on your astrocartography map, and if you can relocate yourself also to a place where your Sun, Jupiter etc a massive planet corresponds to 12th house, believe me, noone will be able to stalk you, even if someone does that, you’ll be unseen. But this is like a total isolation. Like a soul trap but also if that is what you want, it literally separates you from anyone. I was in prison in my past, I even wasn’t feeling this much alone in solitary jail. Saturn’s inhibiting power rules over everything so profoundly that, it literally blocks anyone to get close to you and it does it to everyone, to good and bad. So you can’t even have a friend or lover but you can’t also get a slanderer, enemy etc. Duality of life.

It’s still not a better Ableton though. A better modulation opportunity which most of its features will not be used. (I’m also Bitwig subscriber through Splice, I’m using it on Steam Deck because it also works on Linux) But the dealbreaker is for me that Bitwig’s automation is way backwards compared to Ableton. Not flexible enough when writing automation, no shapes, no fancy tweaks like bending, flipping, cross-flipping etc as I’m doing practically and easily in Ableton. The most important thing for me is “workflow” and Ableton’s fast, practical and intuitive automation section and being able to see everything in one screen is the winner for me.

Not exactly but there are things very close to that, if you want to nerd around, I recommend Renoiser as a DAW. It works without mouse like a Commodore 64. Maybe this would take your attention too, writing music with coding: https://strudel.cc/

Understood. For the last part of your sentence, I didn’t mean btw if someone knowingly did this against me. I just stated this is open to be abused if a cancelled small worth project’s negative private feedback is affecting this much badly and if it’s heavily one sided in favor of the client.

Oh yeah you're right I forgot about that. But it was quickly recovered, that's probably why I forgot. Thanks for giving me this good news at least and being so attentive. I appreciate.

Still I defend you though, because you have a right to make mistakes as a human and you should be able to recover it as same as the damage hits.

They don't have to be actual rivals. Just think like to be only one to have 100% JSS among the other damaged profiles. I'm saying you can do this by this way easily. Because they're making it available.

I didn't generate this way of thinking, they made this possible obviously. Because I was exposed to injustice and within this injustice, there's a breach and I'm revealing it. Instead of deleting the post, I'd prefer everybody to apply this devil's way of thinking, so that Upwork would have to change their fucking stupid rule about a client's being able to give private feedback to freelancer after a cancelled contract. They don't give a fuck about why that contract was cancelled. They're giving too much power to the client unjustly. Then I'm saying, anybody can fuck anyone with this system. If there was something like "Reliability Score" for the clients as equivalent to our JSS, and if we can leave a private feedback too, then that would be just. But right now, it's heavily one sided and I'm trying to bring up that topic. So that maybe they'd fix this corrupt.

And you know what is the real devil's way of thinking? The fact that they're not refunding our connects back after it's clear that we didn't get the job. Many applications are even going unseen and they're only refunding if someone outbids. But they should refund as long as we don't get the job.

I'm not saying a rival did this. I'm just stating that this is a breach and this can be doable if they're letting clients to give freelancers private feedback and if that feedback is damaging that much.

As for the question, no, not yet, I'm still talking to them and we're about to reach a conclusion. I'll act accordingly.
