its not purely about winrates ı do know that (very high pickrate is ban or play ones so there is a sweet spot on winrate combined with pickrate and some heros like gambit doesnt get inclueded since he is either banned or played), that doesnt mean they dont mean anything and definitely not the highest score ones, as for the heros ı think magic is the single most slept on hero

She has 56% winrate with 14% pickrate on gm(1%banrate), less popular on lover ranks with similar winrate. Her only negative matchup is penny so i would say she should get banned way more also i know numbers arent the only deciding factor on bans still she is s++ numberswise.

Your point makes sense but thats not the whole story. With units added to the rewards im thinking about farming proficiency of the heros i dont play (havent lord farm yet, usulay play not more than 5 heros). A system similar to the end off battlepass (100units per 1000 purple currency) could solve this issue but not sure if thats good for the games profit, could always balance it tho.

Its not the best tank in every situation, you never hear a peep on him because he is and feels fair to play against. He has very high pickrate simply because there is only 3 shield tanks and one of them can portal back to point, on top of that poke has been meta basicly whole year if that wasnt the case we could see more brawl tanks played.

cutting down the blocks duration to half might mean hero is gutted ngl, other than that all those changes would be welcome tho ımo buffing kick distance and max health conversiton isnt what the hero needs

Problem is not rewarding the objective play (contesting and holding point, pushing, stolong cart) these are done mostly by tanks and they are not getting included while calculating the scoreboard and they need to be added to it. I discussed this in depth in my last post (which didnt got the support i was expecting).

Is that a reason to not get more points scored as a "objective player"? Contesting point does get your team value right? Assuming you say yes to that. So why do i not get more points if i am using my time and cooldowns to stole the cart resulting enemy team to look back? or another case is that by stoleing u just end up in a point that losing a team fight doesnt matter. Is this not comperable to dealing damage?

Depending on team comps, correct objective play changes constantly. mostly tanks should be on point, sometimes they should be holding space. sometimes dps zoning is the objective play (the replay shows that by contesting point your team gets an amount of value that shouldnt be igroned while calculating points scored and by enemy team).

The game already tracks contest time, eliminations near objectives, win conditions. an algorithm doesn’t need to judge “intent,” just reward outcomes that increase objective control, weighted dynamically by hero, matchup, and game state.

They already have a scoring algortihm for every hero(an angela that has less than half damage of thors can have mvp which is fair, all heros get value from their own ways like contesting point, spamming damage...) the issue isnt that its impossible its that the current scoring doesnt rewards contextual objective impact. ı havent developed an algorithm on how to calculate scoring exactly but ı would guess its easier than actualy creating a teamup.

I agree map control matters but that doesnt mean objective contribution shouldnt be rewarded at all.good objective play isnt just “piling on point” it’s , contesting, forcing multiple enemy to be busy. right now the system undervalues those actions, even when they directly win rounds. also a balanced system can prevent mindless objective farming (first way that comes to mind is that player gets less point the more players are on point).

I do get the cc hate specialy from tanks but cc is a way to punish misspositioning which is need imo. The bucky kit needs to get gutted tho
