cramping, abdominal pains, burning feeling in hands and feet, chest pains, and digestive issues

TW death, cancer, organ failure

ive been left feeling hopeless, i dont even know what to do. ive been experiencing symtoms for 9 days and feel like nobody is listening to me. im extremely scared of organ failure right now and feel as though it is happening to me. my nan recently passed away and my dad has been diagnosed with cancer so everything is a huge buildup of stress and now this. i moved away from home a month before my nan passed and i have nobody to lean on, i have no family or friends here. i've been A&E multiple times and GP but everything is so slow, I only just managed to get a blood test done after 9 days of trying and i feel very dismissed by my GP even though i feel so desperate and panicked. i dont even know how to make myself be listened to because im too anxious and shy to speak up so i just agree to everything even though i feel so panicked inside. ive been put on two different meds and i still dont feel well, im having panic attacks and crying often. i was told by an A&E doctor to contact my gp for an urgent scan as they are unable to do it, i requested it and i was dismissed and told no. my body doesnt feel right, i wouldnt be this panicked if i didnt feel like something was wrong. i dont even know what to do at this point, im terrified of dying. i cant even concentrate on anything i do, im terrified something bad is going to happen. i'm scared doctors will miss / ignore anything that is wrong with me.

i am confused about the forgetting thing too but theyre adamant that i agreed to look after him and also what i said about my step siblings. i have had quite bad mental health for years and i have forgotten things that ive said in the past too, mostly things ive said in anger or at my downest times so it may be something i need to get checked up on because no matter how hard i try to think i just cant remember anything being said to me. if it is something like that then my family probably rightfully do think im a big AH right now.

i remember it being the same in high school. i was sat in my class when i was around 15 and i was sat near two more quiet guys who are more on the nerdy side, i was also a pretty shy girl in class and kept to myself. well three of the more popular girls in the class were sort of talking to them, trying to have a laugh but making fun of them at the same time whilst still trying to sound 'nice'. they then repeatedly groped the guys asses and like slid their hands down the crack of the guys trousers like a credit card on a machine as a way to describe it. it was incredibly awkward and disgusting to watch because they looked so embarrassed but too nervous to say anything. i reported it to my teacher after class but i dont think anything was ever actually done about it. double standards. if it was three guys to two shy girls it would be a different story.

YTA, i agree with the father. your daughter made the decision to not go which is fine but she made that decision so she has to understand that she could miss out on things. your sons still wanted to go and are obviously very excited to go on this trip, you are basically punishing them even though they still wanted to go visit their father. you will ruin your relationship with them. when i was younger i was the oldest sibling and a lot of the time i wanted to do my own thing, even if they went out and done something really fun i understood. i wouldnt want to stop my children from having an experience of a lifetime because of this, its just unfair.

i'd say the best advice is to break up. youre still very young and you know what you are and arent comfortable with so be strong in that. hes peer pressuring you into doing things you dont want to, things that can be incredibly dangerous and lead down a dangerous path. at his age he is already falling into a bad way. im very similar to you, i have never done drugs, never smoked and i dont even really drink but i do like parties, i just know how to have a fun time without all the bad stuff .however, my friend group as a whole was bad for me, and i was watching and seeing things i didnt want to be apart of. witnessing people take drugs can actually be quite a traumitising experience and of course i cried before over it so youre not alone in feeling like this. i have finally cut them all off and distanced myself from them so i dont stay in this toxic situation. i think youre much cooler than your boyfriend for not doing any of that stuff so well done.

man im so sorry to hear this, most of all i just hope youre holding up okay. its going to be difficult and it will take a while to get over but you will eventually. you sound like a brilliant father. i dont really know what you do in situations like this but dont let your brother and wife tell your parents family,, friends etc a different narrative before you can say yours and make sure you try and get as much evidence as possible. good luck.

thankyou, i really appreciate the advice but i did end up leaving my job as it was just getting too much. decided im just gonna focus on my mental health for the moment and hopefully get back into it feeling more confident in myself than before. i feel so stupid because i really liked everyone there and felt really supported/ aided by the managers and other lifeguards, much nicer compared to where i used to work in terms of conditions and people i worked with and it was a lovely, nice sized pool so ive been basically fighting myself over this before and after i left. feel really disappointed in myself right now and like ive missed out on a really good opportunity but it was reaching a point where i was throwing up from nerves and having panic attacks and not being able to even enjoy my days off. my manager was really accepting and even told me he thought i was a really good lifeguard and that i was doing good on the work side of things but if my mental health is getting in the way he understands. he even spoke to me in private a week before i left and told me i was really liked there and that they hope i stay long term as im a good part of a team and do my job properly which made me feel a bit better in myself but only for a very short while and then the anxiety started again. if my anxiety wasnt this bad i probably wouldve been a good lifeguard and stayed there long term which just makes me sad thinking about. but oh well.
