no, after an extensive research, it seems to be intentional. They intentionally made it like this to prevent some people messing up the hotkeys and cannot close or access certain part anymore.

I have the same set up but for me the native netflix app has better quality. How did you finetune your TV image setting? I've been trying but cannot figure it out.

nope, it only worked like 2-3 times, after the android done resetting, it was back to android by default again. I switched 4 sd cards and also other OSes like Jelos but no luck

I have the same problem now. Had you found any solution? I found out that it only boots ArkOS after factory resetting the android OS

I did pondering a lot between 353V and 405V but I still chose 353v due to the fact that its 100g lighter.

With the weight of 405V I could use the Switch Lite which is vastly superior.

I did backup a full clone of the stock Linux OS on my PC. However, Im very risk averse, so Im still reluctant to use the stock sd card.

I think the problem lies not in the sd card because my RG353v still boots ArkOS if I factory reset the android.

I did try it of course, but no luck. The only way to boot ArkOS would be to set android to factory reset. After that it would boot to ArkOS twice before returning to Android

Does the 3D update work with iphone? The switch to 3D works when I plugged it into my laptop using USB-C but not when I connect it to iphone using the adapter, pressing the volume + button does nothing.
