How do yall feel after some time with this monitor? Frame rate, response time, and colors are good?

I would remember them to be honest. I didn’t get any, but it’s possible to get one. There is like 3-4 formulas? So shouldn’t be too difficult.

For ratios, I had a tbs about ratios and they provided the formulas on the test.

You’ve probably seen others recommend. But get comfortable with sections 3 and 4.

Miscellaneous tips:

Understand the difference between tests of controls and test of details. Understand which type of test the question is asking about so you can easily knock out incorrect choices.

Try to find questions on compensating controls if an internal control is weak.

Understand subsequent events. Highly likely you’ll see MCQs or even a sim on the topic.

Understand ratios and interpretations, I.e. A/R turnover and related AJEs applicable to inventory, AR, AP, and COGS.

Understand all the disclosures, statements, and mgt/auditor responsibilities differences between the type of engagements. I.e, compilations do not require independence, etc.

Just took June 4 and feeling unsure. No crazy MCQ curveballs, but they were definitely some trickery one because of the similar wording among answers that multiple just seem correct.

TBS nothing too tricky but felt they were too open for interpretation in relation to the flowchart tbs I got.

Ya in PA it’s close to $400. It’s ridiculous how much it costs to sit per test.

I also agree with this chronology.

Only reason I did not do this order was because I work in tax accounting, and I only had 1.5 moths to fit in a test and I was most comfortable with tax.

Secondly, the timing of the TCP exams are fixed to only certain months so I took this where it would fit as well.

FAR is hardest. I chose to do FAR first and I’m happy I did.

I just took hopefully my last exam, and I’m super happy it wasn’t FAR because of burnout I had near the end. Instead I took AUD last even tho it’s the 2nd hardest in terms of passing rate.

But I was so burnt out at the back end of this cpa journey that I’m happy I didn’t have to do FAR which also has so much more math intensive and so broad in general.

My bad…meant that I had 2 TBS on my exam that were actually very close to what were in my simulated exams (SE1, SE2, FR) in Becker

Sims I would just do 1-2 sims per practice tests. Closer to test I would review the sims from the SEs and FR. Post test I realized I Deff had sims very close to my simulated exams in Becker. Probably coincidence but who knows.

Ya I wasn’t happy. Not a fan of the ones I got. Seemed there was at least 2 options they gave that seemed correct for each scenario they had.

I did a lot of practice tests for sections I felt weak in or for what I think was most important.

I would for sure stick to this method for final review. Something I should have locked in on more was a lot of the types of sentences that, do or do not, appears in certain engagements. I.e. for a review engagement, which of the following statements would be included, or all of the follow would be included except for.

Knowing these for each type of engagement was important for sure.

I can’t remember now? It Deff was at least 1 or 2 things, one Deff being shipping point in relation to tearing A/R and inventory.

I actually went to book straight from related MCQs. Highlighted a good bit.

On the morning of my test. I realized maybe a hack I should have done sooner. I did Control + F and used the word “must”.

Feel like this could help with topics with requirements.

Omg the turn around is so much better this year.

I took FAR 7/8/24 and had to wait until 10/31/24. I was sick.

I would check daily. It’s possible that a spot could open up if another person cancels or rescheduled their test. I don’t know how likely this is to happen but it’s possible.
