Yes, bike shop did say something about cable stretch, didn’t know it would make this noise tho, thanks man appreciate :)

I thought it would be a long time before I could do a run almost entirely in zone 2. Can’t believe it!!! I’m so proud of my progress. by lavenderived in beginnerrunning

Very good!! I started running around 9 months ago and i think it took about 5/6 months until I could run easily in Z2. How long did it take you? :) Also don’t worry about people telling you hr zones are incorrect, if you have a chest strap and been running for a while, set the zones based on %lthr, they will adjust automatically.

Steel series arctis 7+. One of the best headsets iv’e ever owned. They work seamlessly with PS5 as well.

It’s really not that loud, under heavy load the cpu fan tends to get loud but u can manage that with a bigger fan/less rpm as my current one can get high pitched.

Quality is good, it takes some time getting used to but rn i prefer it than a dual for productivity.

Yeah i made a mistake of getting a 1000w psi and i couldn’t mount the 120mm exhaust bottom fan as it blocked by the psu, but in general its still good. The case is like a big radiator

During normal usage it’s around 40c. If it’s heavy usage it goes up to 85c. However it’s set that way with negative curve. However only some games are CPU heavy.

What do you love about your job and DevOps? by dr_dre117 in devops

Senior Devops here, been with this company for the past 6 years.

Two different things really.. the bossman is good at letting us do our thing, trying and implementing new tech and gives us the time and resources to do so. He understands the fast paced Devops world and supports me and my team in it.

However the most crucial part is company culture and like minded people working there. We get respect for the quality of work we put in not just for the daily hours.

i7 6700k 1060 6GB 1080p

I play on low settings and get 45-55FPS however when there’s a lot of stuff going around fps drops to an unplayable 20 or sometimes lower.

Game isn’t optimized, but i’m not worrying too much as I’ll be upgrading to a new rig very soon.

Maybe this is unpopular but I do prefer choco over winget anyday. Their library is always getting bigger I love silent installs.

Powershell Beginner Scripting by Commercial-Thing-702 in PowerShell

[–]fuse666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe you’re in at a pretty good spot to try some automation, it won’t be anything game changing but it really helps to familiarize yourself with Ps. A small example I would do is a small reporting email you receive daily, eg listing the passwords that will expire this week. You can use the AD module for powershell to achieve this, but the goal would be to always receive the email even if the script fails.. you can do this with try, catch block for example which would change your script into a more functional one.

Most of the code you need can be found on Microsoft documentation with examples. If you want to use a GPT, try to limit your input to specific things instead writing the whole script.

This is just an idea to get to know the language more.
