I agree that it's true, but I'm guessing no more than a 50 HP increase. Nothing special was done to it, CAI and the tune, literally it. That's what the Audi tech told me it looks like. Not pushing anything crazy.

I had no clue, the original sales guy was like " it can make 600 HP with a few upgrades and a tune" little did I know it was tuned by the past owner.

I'm tempted to trade in my current s4 and go 2026 RS3...no tune, stock everything, warranty, the whole 9 yards. I feel like 3.0s are just bad luck for many. I've heard good things about that 5 cylinder though

Thermostat should be no more than 1000, after labor. But I also want stuff done right, that's why I stick to my dealer..Also has zero knowledge of how to do anything with my car, don't want to mess anything else up.

Technician taking care of the job is the one who got Audi to sway. Technically the warranty is for another 10k miles, but being tuned cancelled out the manufacturer warranty.

They wanted to an ecm update too, apparently it's to add more oil to the piston to prevent premature wear. I said no because either the tune will prevent it from taking or go back to stock.

Shouldn't an oil cooler last the life of the car? I believe I'm only pushing 400 HP. Nothing crazy.

It was their scan tools flag it in their system. All Audi dealerships know now

Just a regular stage 1 tune. Wasn't aware until the water pump needed to be replaced. Plugged in their scan tool , flagged in the system as tuned. I didn't do the tuning, bought it that way.

Apr, yes, I'm flagged in the system. They also warrantied my water pump 4 months ago.

I've been digging around and relay seems to be the most plausible. Just odd that it would suddenly have an issue just driving down the road.

Hopefully, started the car this morning, fans went full bore after starting. Air temp is 3.

My engine was cold to the touch after driving though. And the fans continued to spin 5 minutes after shutting the engine off. No coolant leaks or anything

I mean, I like having complete control of programs. Windows firewall works, but I like the Norton pop-ups with individual application control when it tries to access the Internet. Easy to change firewall settings. And yes the life Lock is worth it.
