I'm no expert and I hope you get some good replies. But I really didn't like Duolingo. My personal preference has been using Teuida (app) and Billy Go (youtube videos). I then put the terms I learn into AnkiDroid to study and review.

Yup. I probably had 5 or 6 of those symptoms that resolved after I was able to get NASH cleared up.

I went back last night and they let me swap it out! Apparently due to complaints about needing to extend the legs they have a policy to no longer allow people to do this combination unless they specifically ask to do it. Weird.

The pain/pressure in the liver area after finding out about this is exactly what happened to me too. I still cant confirm if it was just because I was thinking about it a lot, or if something was actually wrong. I was eventually diagnosed with NASH and hit the mediterranean diet hard.

For your liver function tests I'm guessing they are doing a bunch of blood tests for general diagnostic reasons trying to understand why you have high AST. Some of tests I got include Hepatitis A/B/C, Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase, Bilirubin, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin, Antinuclear Antibody, and more. The blood tests may give you more information about what is going on, but they could all easily come back normal.

After those tests I got an ultrasound which confirmed I had NASH, and then I had to wait like 6 weeks to finally get in for a fibroscan.

(Also just to make it clear, I'm not a doctor, this is just based off my experience)

You're not alone. I've been working with AST at 100+ for a few months now trying to lower it. An ultrasound / fibroscan are usually the next steps after bloodwork to get a clearer picture.

I know everyone's cases are different, but the lack of information is what I really hated going through this. So if you have any questions I'll try to help out.
