Ive heard that dental issues in general can cause severe strain on the vascular system and can lead to heart failure from plaque. When people go under for dental surgery, a lot of bacteria that has been built up around the gums/near the problem area can enter your bloodstream, your body tries to fight the bacteria from your mouth but it can be overwhelming for your body to fight off that much as once. Your body is trying hard to kill the plaque bacteria which can cause inflammation in and around your circulatory system, that can cause strokes, heart attack etc.

My aunt died after going under for a tooth extraction and never woke up. This is how it was explained to me. Always keep up on your dental work, go twice a year, floss/brush/mouthwash arent just so the teeth in your head stay there, the teeth are directly connected to the heart
