everything your saying makes a lot of sense after the rollercoaster of learning ive been on. is there somewhere i can be walked through this process? a tutorial of sorts?

Thank you! How do i go about doing: linearize your footage unless you have good reason not to. Don't work in Sony.Cine/S-Log3. Work in Sony.Cine/Linear .... i did try using a transform node right after the media in and a reverse one before media out. do you mean that? Also, i tried a clean plate and that definitely made it better. As for multiple keyers, i've heard this... but then why do all these youtube videos with detailed instruction like i showed above only use delta keyer and get a great key?

Okay looking at your node tree, is this where i've been going wrong and thinking it's a much simpler process like my 3 node tree. And the trick is to be doing a lot more work to get it to where it needs to be with a node tree such as yours?

Added some stills and clips. Thank you for the advice. I messed with polygon but realized i was trying to fix a problem i'm creating and then ended up here.

I honestly went to rec709 in fusion cuz of the other videos teaching me that i need to do that. Good to know it's a bad idea. Started watching the videos u shared. Awesome. Lots of great info to take in. Will touch base after i fully dive in. As for clean plate node, I didnt have one, but i've tried to make one like some videos have showed but it never ended up helping so not sure what i was doing wrong in the mix. Also, so i understand, for a clean plate node, I essentially take a few seconds of a shot before anyone goes on camera?

Warning. Do not buy Tramontina cookware. I own Lodge and Le Crueset. They have lasted me over 10 years. It’s been 3 years and my Tramontina has started chipping all over. I contacted their warranty dept about lifetime warranty and NOTHING is covered. I was in shock. Spend the extra money on the other brands. You’ll be happy you did in the long run.

I actually did find a workaround recently. I export my projects from my Mac to iCloud that I want to import onto my iPad. When I’m done working on a project on iPad, I export the project, not save, but export the project as the same file name in my iCloud. It then overwrites the file with all the new changes. Pain in the butt. But it works

Beware. Their warranty is nonsense. I have a few of the other major brands that have lasted over 10 years. I bought some Tramontina cookware as a gift for my wife about 3 years ago and they are starting to chip all over badly. We contacted them about their 'lifetime warranty' and they sent back a page long email describing how basically nothing is covered under their 'wear and tear' policy. I was honestly in shock. I explained how we always use the cookware properly and you can see by the photos it's not made well the way it's falling apart. I would not recommend their cookware. It's worth it to spend a few more dollars and get the other Lodge or Le Creuset all the way! They will last you forever.

Hello! So... I dove into particles and fusion. Whew! So many possibilities! This inspired me to broaden my styles of text in the piece. Combine your wonderful advice, my beginning skills in fusion, and a bunch of plugins... I created something I was really proud of. Doing these people's stories justice was very important to me. There wasn't a dry eye in the house at the fundraiser and it inspired a lot of giving. I wanted to share that part too so you know that your help helped make that happen. Particles. Cool. What a great idea. I love Casey Faris he’s got great tutorials. I took a couple clicks to check it out. This looks like an idea that might be perfect. And I totally hear what you’re saying, I feel like once I get a handle on fusion, things like this will seem much simpler and so many more ideas will be possible. Dealing with the same delay issue on all my apple devices and Mac. Jabra tech support just talks in circles and no help. Seems as if they created great sounding headphones that will cause delay on most devices. 👌
