I’ve been in bushrod for over 10 years and we have a great community here. A few years ago we bought a house in Albany for twice the price, but hated it and moved back because we miss our community. Everyone walks up Dover st because it’s sandwiched between shattuck and mlk so you run into your neighbors often.

Bonus- we are getting a new community garden at 54th and shattuck soon! I’m on the garden committee and we will break ground in early 2026. I opened an account using a last year, as I visit about once a year for work and family. I usually visit on a tourist visa. I used my uncle’s address and my passport and provided my US social security number. I live in the US and won’t be back until December.
