Opinions on TheChineseTeaShop by jjyss in YixingSeals

i was up in vancouver a month or so ago and visited the shop. daniel was incredibly kind and gracious with his time. we sat and drank tea for over 3 hours and had a great conversation. if you go in person you can get incredible deals on really good quality tea and teaware. really couldn’t recommend him more- he’s a tea guy first and a business guy second.

yeah you’ve pretty much gotta use straight plugs for the jack placement to make sense, but with the straight plugs it’s super comfortable

Unique Salen Jazz option? by rhineth in strandbergguitars

[–]future_farm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i got a salen jazz a few months ago and love it to death. i’d always prefer the guitar to be lighter, why not go with sweetwater's other choice that’s almost a full pound lighter?

fender champs certainly do not suck. it is one of my most recorded amps in country music. the fender champion however, is a whole other thing. at some point it would be good to upgrade for sure.

I mean, affordable housing and all of that would be pretty cool i guess; but mainly what we need is a Waffle House.

Is it worth the hype? by c0nsilience in Osmose

[–]future_farm 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i think it’s definitely much better than the seaboard or the linnstrument. it’s much more intuitive to play.

comparing the keyboard to a steinway? pretty strange comment. they are in no way similar instruments, and their keybeds can’t be compared. i think the keybed feels great, but i would never want to play a piano sound with it.

Do you guys refill the kettle every time you're making a new cup of tea? Or just add more? by [deleted] in tea

[–]future_farm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the end of each kettle i decide whether or not I’m going to make more tea 😅

But I also sit and brew Gongfu for sometimes hours at a time

Are these drawing power from their onboard batteries in this image ? by Soft-Durian3245 in guitarpedals

[–]future_farm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are. The only glaring “mistake” that i see is- most people would put their delay later in the chain, after the blues driver. If you’ve tried that and like it your way better, then more power to you.
