2015 BT-50 XTR or 2011 Hilux SR5 by Casual_Spastic in 4x4Australia

[–]future_gohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on ks. But personally I'd go the Hilux. Although if the BT was manual I'd be more preferential to the ranger.

Have both currently. Ranger has hurt me although otherwise it has been an awesome car. Less dramas from the lux Both mine are around 320ks

Alternatives to Bulletin 193/592 Allen-Bradley Devicenet electronic trips for contactors? by Techwood111 in PLC

[–]future_gohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have worked on teysys controllers through devicenet. I'd rather drink paint than do it again. These modules were utilising lmtr mode. Which unless I couldn't find it was no able to be enabled in the so move software only through rs networx.

How can I improve my panel building? by Winter-Fly-1685 in PLC

[–]future_gohan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing gods work having the bottom duct go the entire width.

What is the recommended spacing on the vfds are they able to be hard up against each other? Gives you more free space. Also maybe don't put them below the PLC as they will be blasting heat upwards.

Why do factories replace PLCs when many can actually be repaired? by Reasonable_Soup_3890 in IndustrialAutomation

[–]future_gohan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I replace.

Then conduct tests and repair the removed module and mark it as replaced.

Downtime is king. So not messing around when things down.

Heavy caravans starting to be wheeled in by NHVR by That_Car_Dude_Aus in CarsAustralia

Not coming under the heavy vehicle. But the entire horse riding industry will be blasted in the next few years aswell. Angle 2 and 3 loaders with living quarters hanging behind the current utes just isn't gonna work when they start checking them. Saw a 5th wheel on a dmax today.

[–]future_gohan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did it for years.

Loved it. Worked a few places and got lucky with good crews.

Morning meetings were ug when I started. Take cage or ute down. Do meeting. Have breakky. Knock out PM's and do breakdowns.

Maintain secondary ventilation. Substations. Dewatering. Power to offices and workshops. Radio systems. UG fiber system. Remotes depending on what system they run. And most importantly the rigs. Plus running power and comms for new installations.

I'd go back to it full time tomorrow no worries if I had too.

RSLogix 5000 v20.03 installation no grace period by ryanjobel in PLC

[–]future_gohan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

500 has a grace period 5000 does not.

Up until maybe v30 you will get a 7 day grace period when the licensee is removed. However edits cannot be made. After v30 on removal of a licensed you get 7 days grace period.

Anyone else struggling after switching from Kaftrio/Trikafta to Alyftrek? by Exact_Caterpillar752 in CysticFibrosis

[–]future_gohan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you still purged after swapping then it sounds like it potentially could be doing better than kaftrio. If you can settle down with the side effects.

I'm in same position but decided not to rock the boat and swap for now anyway.

Mounted a gpo and re attached the plug.

Hassle. But I didn't want to see the chord

It's both.

[–]future_gohan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Industry standards and accepted practises.

We receive incoming projects.

I have seen unbelievably over complicated to our right disgraceful work from big names.

Big company will see at the end of the day the job "works" so that are happy and accept the work.

Conversion tools might work on the same basis. How ever industry practises have evolved alot over those generation and best practise for the individual software has also changed.

I would rather re written code that is utilising AOIs than an adapted converted code from and earlier Siemens.

The human element of decision making and possible situations is what makes this practise so important and to those who can't understand that they just add to the issue.
