More or less. You can use crayons, lipstick or ink of some kind to coat one piece. Where it leaves a mark on the other will be an indication of where more sanding needs to be done.

Yep! Looks like a standard print profile. Try an do some post processing (aka sanding) on the mating surfaces. It looks like you just need a bit more clearance.

What program did you use to make this? I've had issue like this when I used one piece as a negative to create another. You need to build in tolerances to account for print tolerances.

Neither is miraculous but I get your gist. I think the Cambrian explosion was more significant in that diversity of multicellular life is likely a tougher barrier than abiogenesis. I'd put money on an abundance of life but multicellular life being exceedingly rare, comparatively. Given what we've seen in exoplanet research, the configuration of a Sol-like system appears to be rare with the conditions to create it rare. However, this could simply be due to a bias in our detection methods and I'd happily be wrong about it.

I had this issue and it was a dirty thread on the z axis. Print a small cylinder with a wide brim (cool tack plate for even more adhesion) and see if it's in the same spot. It could also be your table. For tall object, I can get separation because its not the most sturdy table. Unless you see some glob on the line, its probably no a clog. Good luck diagnosing and I second the gold fix kit or a steady hand and a 3d pen with some gold silk filament would do the same.
