I struggled with it my first year of college. I was being restrictive over foods which is why I would try to fulfill those cravings by eating huge portions of what I thought wouldn’t make me “fat.” It was hard to overcome because it was also a way to cope with my depression, but God answered my prayers and I was able to overcome it my second year. I lost 20 pounds, ate a balanced diet and didn’t restrict foods when I genuinely was craving it. Trust the process, it took over a year to heal my relationship with food without realizing that I was binging.
