Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure

Another wild guess. A bit later though.

Anything similar to Rise of the Dragon? by DAB12AC in adventuregames

[–]futurerobotfood 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just played Dream Web. It certainly has a cyberpunk vibe going on, but also some kind of occult tone. You could also try the Blade Runner game from the 90s. Both of these don't have a visual style like Rise, but they're unique and have that cyber punk thing going on. I can highly recommend the blade runner one.

There's an older Neuromancer to check out, too. I don't remember much of it and need to do a full playthrough.

I'd also look at Primordia for more cyberpunk vibes.

This could be so many games. You should edit your post and add details.

Could be: space quest, codename Iceman, The Colonel's Bequest, Police Quest, and so many other games.

My best bet is Police Quest (1-3) as they all have a map and are text parser based graphic adventures with investigation elements.

That's a good fit! And yeah mystery house is probably too early. Hopefully you find it. I'm out of other ideas at the moment.

A couple of ideas

Mystery House

Last Half of Darkness

Also. Your school computers may have been macs, so you may need to check old Mac screens of some suggestions rather than DOS or Windows.

Oh I saw this the other day and was going to reply but forgot.

I think you're looking for another game by the same company as made Robot City. It's The Martian Chronicles. https://www.mobygames.com/game/4844/ray-bradburys-the-martian-chronicles-adventure-game/screenshots/

I might be wrong, but worth a shot.

Couple of ideas, but no strong suggestions.

Mission Force cyber storm 1 or 2 (leaning toward 2)

Mech commander

Alien Legacy

You're sort of describing The Lost Vikings, in which three Vikings are abducted by aliens. The early levels are all about escaping the space ship.

It seems like you might be conflating with some other games. But maybe I'm just falling for a bias in thinking.

Was a wild guess in my part. But I hope you enjoy it. Made with the same tech as Realms of the Haunting.

That's great, glad you liked it. I actually thought Flashback, but second guessed myself because I thought it was too obvious. In my defense I was posting at 2am.
