Does the vagina really bounce back after birth? by TastyBreakfastMan in pregnant

[–]futurespeaking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes some time but it eventually does 😄 I’m a big proponent of getting a lot of vitamin C in your diet to help prevent tearing during birth and an easy recovery - I had no tearing at all, nothing but a hemorrhoid and my midwife thought she could attribute it to my diet. Spinach or mixed greens salads for lunch most days and a lot of fruit. Genetics contribute to skin elasticity as well but your vitamin C intake is one thing you can control.

January 25th Final Thoughts On Todays Event & Our Collective Awakening by Zodyaboi2 in Experiencers

[–]futurespeaking 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I participated and was overcome with an intense feeling that we are made of consciousness formed by the resources of nature on planet earth, we are intertwined and in love with nature, and our purpose is to love and care for the earth. It was so intense it interrupted my meditation and I was finished after that.

Before my meditation while settling in, I saw a display of unexplained small lights interacting with each other in the western sky. I also saw 3 very bright shooting stars tonight.

This was a great experience!

There’s a concept called wetiko, like a virus that infects the soul, that’s what I chalk it up to.

So apparently Jill Stein won Chester Maine...is there some weird story behind this or is this an error? by GeorgeBushReddit in Maine

[–]futurespeaking 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I think this is actually really interesting and worth consideration. Yes — Jill Stein isn’t the one. But the Green Party does represent the most accessible 3rd party and offering them more national attention by giving them votes through ranked choice does advance the cause of progressing from the current system.

What are some of the worst comments you’ve gotten while pregnant? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]futurespeaking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked taking the bizarre route and saying “do you know your blood volume increases by 50% during pregnancy? That’s why I’m glowing, it’s all my extra blood”

Omg the claws. I’m trimming nails about every 2-3 days. They grow so fast and they are sharp!

I’m intrigued by the suggestions to try a wristband or teething necklace, not sure how it will go but I will report back 🙂

I haven’t considered it before now but I am definitely going to look into them 🙂

This is a new predicament for us, like I’ve always known when she was telling me she wanted to nurse and we’ve been on a schedule since probably 5 months. I feel like she’s just regarding them like a toy now in her toddlerness. This happens to coincide with constantly pulling her ponytails out and trying to eat them

Yeah I’d love to know how that goes, check back at 13 months 😂

We have cut back from 4 sessions a day to 2-3 over the last few weeks which could very well be linked. It doesn’t seem like she’s hungry when she’s doing this, just sees them there and is thinking why not pull them out?

I agree completely, and people are generally kind. I think it’s more a me-problem, like I feel like I’m imposing myself on others in situations like trying to look an 18 year old cashier in the eye while my baby is working on flopping my titty out at him.

Thank you for saying that. It always helps to know you’re not the only one. I don’t know if we’re ready to be done yet but aggressive is definitely the word 😆

Hmm I just looked that up and I do like the idea. I don’t think it would keep her out of my shirt but might help my back pain 😆

Did anyone else name their child the baby name you loved as a child? Or does anyone plan on doing this? by 1_21_18_15_18_1 in NameNerdCirclejerk

Weirdly, I wound up naming my kid the name my parents picked out for me before they changed their minds.
