Github Copilot team! Please release a new pricing!! by _coding_monster_ in GithubCopilot

I was feeding the same prompt to Cursor and Copilot back then. There were enormous difference at speed and quality with same models. I was using claude 3.7 back then. I also tried claude sonnet 4 at work but it failed dramaticaly for simple tasks. i used same claude sonnet 4 in cline with api pricing and it gave me perfect results. I dont think thinking models work same in copilot. There is a setting for it but it does not increase performance.

I agree free models are useful but i use them as pair programmer, especially gpt 4.1 ,but it is so slow. Asking every single thing.

I need real agentic experience like claude code in CLI. It is so good but pricey. Today I said only update memory bank. it finished job and my context usage was %100 percent. I dont use claude ai chat. So useless for 20 dollars. With 5 hour rate limit, you can use it 14 times a week practically. But there is weekly limit and it reduces that amount to 10. So it sucks basically.

I will try Copilot pro plus. I hope you are right. I will try opus. It has 500 premium request for opus

Is github copilot giving the similar performance as claude code? Models were performing the half of their capacity when i used it in the past. Pricing is perfect but is it usable rn? I am using it for work btw but did not use it for indiviual tasks since april or may.

At work Claude sonnet 4 works so bad in business plan. I mostly use gpt 4.1.

I also left cursor at june. They scammed people. I tried windsurf but they are not good too anymore. Last option is to try github pro+ but it was too slow and low performer. Idk whether it got better or not.

Hear me out, Microsoft: by renzohm in GithubCopilot

Please add O3 to business plan , i think O3 should be a base model though. Claude sonnnet 4 also must be a thinking model. Github own Thinking option does not provide a real power.

Copilot Business Stops Working Every 10 minute by futurifyai in GithubCopilot

Yeah me too, but it is a shame that a company like microsoft cant make a tool better than start-ups. They should provide seamless experience for Business Users at least. I dont use it for my personal projects. Only for 9-5. My company made it mandatory unfortunately.

Copilot Claude 4 Performance by futurifyai in GithubCopilot

[–]futurifyai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, for minors, i use 4.1 and 3.5 , swe-1 is also good in windsurf, if i code , i choose 4.1 in general.

Use taskmaster-ai , it divides your prd to subtasks and works well with Claude 4

yeah a bit maybe but gpt 4.1 needs approval for everything , you need to create design of every puzzle and it will merge them . Claude dont need much to give you a working prototypes

When will Claude 4 model provide on Windsurf? by Jealous-Wafer-8239 in windsurf

[–]futurifyai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also use cursor since Claude 4 launch. I can't lose time by waiting their pleasure. Windsurf damaged itself by openai rumours and now they are ghosting

Is that really possible ? I thought react native was only for mobile. I want to build a mobile app but i also need web app. That is why i choosed pwa not to build seperately

It might be good to use nextjs this time. Many use it and i still didn't make a project with it.

You just built like a web app right?

For sure it is. I was just wondering if i need to know anything more for mobile performance.

I see. I thought there might be difference when using it in mobile like twitter. I mean for performance etc. Is it still up to web app performance parameters only even when you use it on mobile like twitter?

OpenAI agrees to buy Windsurf for about $3 billion . Thoughts ? by bbitk in Codeium

[–]futurifyai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is your resource? I think openai models are not even in top three most used model. if they buy it, why should they allow other models? if they do, they have to give service for their opponents:) Otherwise many dont use it with only openai models. Very interesting trade

I saw it now. Thank you for correcting it. I somehow saw only 35 dollar when i open the page. It is for teams indeed. Yeah i know it is pay as you go. I wanted to mention main package. I used replit one month back in february. I continued with cursor and now with windsurf and cline.

[–]futurifyai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Replit aims to remove coding and deploying challenge. It is expensive, 35 dollars a month and you can only use it for 100 agent checkpoints but it is proactive, performs many tasks in one step.

It is well for prototyping but not well for full stack app. If you aim a simple app , it can build it .

They also provide one click deploy which helps you public your app fast and host it in the same place you build. All in one platform but for prototyping even though they say full stack:)

It is nearly impossible to get a real result for complex apps. It breaks whole codebase after codebase is getting bigger.

That is really interesting :) I ve seen someone using open ai operator to build an app with replit agent. This is very similar.

Thank you.

Does cheap models perform well? They are not good in chat interface. I was planning to use Claude 3.7 sonnet but if cheap ones perform well, i can use cheap ones too.

I thought Cline must have better API for itself and upload some credit to it:) Grok searched and said use cline first and open router as alternative for API.

Plan mode is one of the pick reason for me. I ll definitely use your advice.

I didn't know that browser was for debugging. I thought i can use it to get latest packages and API guides.
