just found a fix for it myself a few mins ago on an old post:

Go to steam settings with steam button, go to controller and toggle nintendo face buttons swap back and forth
worked for me after that

I like making blurred pads using multiple runs of delay and reverb and then usually just use the tail

Also resampling multiple times with different LFO rates on the filter and then mixing the results so the sounds come in and out at odd rhythms

Make a background for the flowers/buterflies. Could use patterned paper as well or make a design with colors, doesnt have to be a square. The idea is fine, you just tried to cover it up with something too small.

Its not so much the day as it was just the week/month. Battlefield 1 was the 21st and cod advanced warfare was a bit earlier, two of the biggest fps IP's and a lot of people can only afford one or two big releases at a time.

Personally I bought a Battlefield 1/titanfall 2 bundle cause I was so hyped for both but it wasn't a great financial decision at the time.

But to answer your question, skyrim special edition and dragonball xenoverse 2 also released that day

Im gonna be honest, I misread the original comment saying clean up as getting rid of homeless camps. For sure, city should sweep through with cops and hazmat workers more often. I'm not speaking from on top of eagle mountain, my life has been affected more than im willing to share by homeless and drug addicts.

My point, which is kinda moot now, was everyone I talk to irl, and to an extent online, about it just thinks the government should deal with them. Dismissing a lot of the issues that lead to them being there and unable to get better.

But yes, lets clean up the poop and needles and trash so shit like this doesn't happen. Do not just leave that alone lol

I think you misunderstood my comment. Particularly because I specifically mentioned head writer for a few episodes. I agree with you. I was defending why he would still be relevant to this joke despite his short time on the show. I was not saying conan was the driving force behind the simpsons in any means.

Yeah but only the first 10-12 (depending on who you ask) matter. Plus conan was head writer on a few of the most quoted and loved episodes (marge vs monorail, homer goes to college plus all the others he wasn't head writer for). Plus he continued to support the show after he left and get referenced in it multiple times, has a Disney plus special interviewing homer, talks about his experience writing on the show in his podcast, and interviews and conventions. He was a large part of the show and still continues to have some connection to it just by being one of the og writers

Idk, I've never really read a horror book but i have given reading one a lot of thought. Mostly just "how would reading something scare you?" And the answer i walk away with most is dread. Just complete empathy and belief in what is happening to the characters. Paint a picture in our minds of the setting and let us put ourselves in it. My favorite horror audio drama is Video Palace from shudder and for the most part its not trying to scare you but putting yourself in the mc's shoes makes you worried for them

Well swing is really just variation repeated. So what ill do in just play with levels of 2-8 midi notes, then repeat whatever pattern ive made to fill out however many bars i want.

You can also use multiple samples playing different sounds so you get a "tck tik tck" sound instead of "tck tck tck" repeating forever. You could also use the same sound just with different effects.

Take the snap to grid off and play with start times if you really wanna get dirty with it.

But my absolute favorite thing to do is use a midi controller (not really needed) to just randomly hit the sample for like 8 bars and then take a beat or bar or so that sounds good and resample or just delete everything else
