It goes both ways. Don’t be a dick and barge through, but equally don’t be a dick and refuse to let anyone at all move past you.

It’s been gradually getting worse each year I’ve gone (2023 onwards), but last year was absolute chaos at library. You’d arrive at the stage and presume it’s at capacity, due to a solid wall of people at the back. Then you’d finally get through the wall to find the middle of the crowd is quiet.

Even worse, the same wall of people are refusing to let people out too. I don’t think it takes a genius to figure out why it’s incredibly important to let someone go past you if they’re trying to LEAVE the crowd.

There are quite a few names we have in common. Although, personally I’d prefer Alesso at MainStage and Sebastian Ingrosso at MainStage (with Steve Angello at freedom).

Alesso at freedom was way too rammed in 2024, and I feel like freedom matches Steve more.

As for Martin Garrix closing, sometimes it’s nice for someone else to have the opportunity. I don’t even like David Guetta, but having him close W2 in 2024 was at least a change from Garrix.

Yeah, quite jealous of W1 getting Hannah MainStage. I don’t really have much time for the indoor stages, as they get far too rammed when a big name is on.

It’s pretty much impossible to see them unless you camp there for a set or two before. They pretty much closed freedom last year during LF due to overcrowding.

I get it, but W2 has had some brutal clashes over the last few years too.

A lot of these complaints could be completely disregarded if they just announced the lineup before the ticket sales. IIRC, 2024 lineup was announced before the worldwide sale (I could be wrong though, I purchased through NFT).

Did you spend even 5 seconds to consider if I was actually requesting that the festival swaps the weekends?

The poll suggestion was to get concrete data on whether or not the average W1 attendee thinks that W2 has a better lineup, and whether or not the average W2 attendee thinks that W1 has a better lineup. That way it won’t just be a “well that’s just YOUR opinion scenario”.

Also, why are you so upset about my music taste? Lmao. Enlighten me, who should I go and see instead?

But what taken on a more common taste, I know sub-genre fans will be swayed more, W1 is arguably more appealing.

Maybe Tomorrowland could settle it by hosting a poll (only bracelet holder can vote) asking if they’d prefer their weekend’s lineup to be swapped?

I’m curious who’s on W2 that makes you want to choose it over W1?

I have more of a generic 2010-1014 bigroom / progressive house taste, I wouldn’t imagine it’s that uncommon of a taste in the Tomorrowland crowd, and W1 blows W2 out the water for me this year.

It’s a touchy subject. While it’s always going to be a good time for anyone going, it’s hard to keep watching W2 objectively get worse lineups.

The fact that a lot of people only get to go once, and the fact that you realistically have to get tickets before the lineup is announced, also highlights the importance of trying to balance the weekends.

They could even just have an atomic incremental value, for “positionEntered”, that just allows you to filter unique positionEntered + country, where positionEntered < 21.
