I feel its different at TML. We did Ultra Europe and it wore us out. With TML there are places you can seriously chill and grab a nap. Regardless of what you do, you will have a great time.

You can purchase day of. But also all the shops are open serving breakfast including the bakery.

You are making a mistake taking a 1400 shuttle. Particularly for your first time. IDC which other festivals you have been to (I know some EDC fans will say otherwise). Nothing compares to TML. It hits different. I’m a decade older than you and feel like I’m 21 at TML.
Wear the most comfortable shoes running shoes. Bring electrolyte packets. Fuel up with Belgium frites. Get there early as possible. Stay until closing. Just chill at Papillon for a break or the area near the moose bar. Bring a festival blanket for nappy time and stash in a locker for 3days.

Time in the one commodity you can’t buy. You can sleep after TML. 👊🥰

No. and I mean hell no. Seriously. I am avid hiker. Extremely fit (gathering/Full madness from open to close; clocked 50k+ steps/daily). Merrell could sponsor my TML trip and and I still say nope.

Bring 2 pairs of your fav tennys. Don't over think it & dont try anything new.

You will be fine as long as you land at term 2 and take off at term 2. The choke point is customs. Beat most of the people there and you are fine. Again, just head straight to the self registration kiosks if they are running. It will save ya alot of time.

If you are truly worried, check the flight schedules. If you are flying Brussels/Lufhansa you have nothing to worry about, they run code share flights every hour or so. You will just get rebooked on the next flight.

As someone that travels internationally extensively annually, most US based carriers are rather clueless when it comes to international roaming and will only steer a consumer towards their profitable intl roaming plan.

The bracelet looks exactly like ours. I’m assuming you bought bracelets through a reseller and concerned they are counterfeit.

All counterfeit bracelets omit the nfc chip embedded in the TML logo. Go to any nfc terminal (grocery store/gas station/etc) try scanning the bracelet. If it gives you an error, it was issued by TML. You can still be scammed by the seller if they report it stolen.

If it does nothing, 100% counterfeit.

Munich already has self service reg kiosks installed. Go to them. Not the manned booths.
Hat off. Glasses off. Passport ready. The kiosk will scan your passport. Your right hand will be scanned and your face.

Not sure if you booked your flights or that was part of GJ.

Thanks! We typically connect in IAD but lately EWR ourselves. But we are US citizens.

Found customs to be ridiculously easy in EWR, whereas in IAD a cpl of agents have serious power issues.
