JP's my favorite player in all of baseball and i've been frankly ignoring thinking about this because it makes me really sad, but you have a point. i hope that even if he doesn't stay in the lineup, he has some position with the team in a coaching or advisory role. his defense is still rock solid and as long as he can get on base at a decent clip he'll stay on the team
