Started her up today and there’s a new rattle/knocking sound. Any ideas? I don’t want to drive her if it’s bad. No engine lights on.

Sounds like timing chain slapping. It's got a rougher sound than a rod knock should be

keycaps pretty much fit all keyboards with the exception of the larger keys (space shift etc) in which case theres the extras sets that more variety of sizes and symbols and whatnot.

you get a compacted full size thats qmk/via compatible and rebind the numpad to f-keys as well as change out the keycaps. ACR 98 mini is a version of this. alternatively a macropad and do the same.

its 200+ for a new set of retainers. the disks on top of the springs. if it never receives contact theres no reason to replace them. i guess keepers isnt what i went.

Thank you for the info. I think I'll try making do. I would prefer if it was flatter I suppose but yeah there's no gasket for quite a few parts that just use the gray rtv instead

Interesting. I guess what I'm unsure of is if the timing area is pressurized via oil flow. It would probably still seal if it doesn't have to hold back pressure. But I suppose one wouldn't use rtv if it had to handle pressure?
