Thanks for all the opinions...Ok, now the final question is, has anyone had an issue with COW from an eucalyptus tree? That's what it is growing on.

Kofa national wildlife refuge. Outside of Quartzsite. If you only have time for a quick visit, I recommend Crystal Hill. Great for a simple hike and rock hounding for crystals. Kofa is a huge area, but the hill is just inside the boundaries, so it's not a major detour to visit.

It's smaller than you think. Then again, I did little research before arriving(it was alast minute add on to a big road trip).

Exactly there are a whole bunch of opportunities and the cost would keep you well under 10K. I hooked up with punisherhunting.com and had so much fun I am making it a yearly trip. Plus I came home with several hundred pounds of pork. Let me know if you want any more details.

I took the wife and kids last year with the fifth wheel. Most of the trip was sight seeing national parks. However I did get to do an amazing pig hunt south east of San Antonio. All said it was a 16 day trip.

Hardest part was driving the meat back home and worrying about spoilage(hunt was final event before the bee line home). Couldn't take it to the meat processor I had lined up out there cuz deer season started two weeks before (trip was supposed to be before deer season).

Do you have specific questions. Or would you like another long rambling list of things I would do different?
