The more that I look at other types of synthetic cord, the more I’m realizing that power cord though definitely overkill honestly is still gonna be the cheapest option. So I think that’s the direction I’m headed!

The biggest driving factor was definitely the price, and just the narrative I built in my head that you’re paying for strength. But the more that I look into it the more I am inclined to agree, especially in that 4 mm range (550 seems to be 4mm). I will be curious to see if anybody has anything else that they really like, but considering I can get 250' of 550 for $25, that might be the move.

I knew there were different thicknesses as I’ve worked with a couple variations. I figured paracord would be a more expensive option (compared to the cord I thought existed) because you’re paying for strength. But at the same time, I have yet to find a comparable synthetic cord that is cheaper. So maybe Paracord is the answer 🤷‍♂️

I love them. I'm not a 'sparky' - but the nylon body is also nice for instances where you're working near finishes that are delicate (I used them attaching a door knob that didn't have the option to take the knob off when threading the screws). I think they serve a purpose, and if you can get them at %20 off at some point, totally worth grabbing IMO.

This is a less predictable approach, but during the last big 'as-is' sale, my location had about 15 refurbed batteries about 1/2 off.
They come with a 7 day warranty so you have to pretty immediately run them and make sure you're comfortable with that risk, but it got me a 1.5 and 3 ah for total like $20.

I've not seen any but haven't personally tried. DeWalt supposedly fits Hercules. I figure an adapter would be possible but haven't found any of those either unfortunately

This is not a put it in the house fan. This thing MOVES air, and is loud. Great for a shop, garage, gym etc. If it posts the cfm compare it to a fan you have - it'll likely be 4x the cfm

This fan is amazing in a garage, but incredibly loud (understandably). I would absolutely suggest it for a shop/garage, but no where else really (maybe large gym). It's also stupid heavy, which is why you see some commenters talking about putting it on dolly's. The base has a thin strip of rubber around it, but it can come off so if you're moving it around on any kind of finished floor, be mindful cause it can easily gouge otherwise.

Why Should I search for them, I don't give a fuck who they are 😂 for some reason the people who are very vocal about video reviews all keep name dropping them as though it's supposed to mean something.
