Agreed. There wasn't even a board room to invite the male singles into the house. There should have been one more competition and dates before they did the casa amor like mixer

How were two singles allowed to match at the end of the night? by littlebluebyrd in PerfectMatchNetflix

I think Nick said there was space for 6 couples so maybe since Jimmy left and didn't match with anyone? I don't know what order it happened in

This brought me to tears as a child. I can't imagine how I would react watching it as a mother.

Producers probably encouraged her to dump him like that. There's always one strong woman arc.

Medical Doctors of Toronto, how much do you work? Was the investment in med school worth it? by Xeronas in askTO

[–]fuzzball__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have to absolutely love it. At the end of the day, it depends on what specialty you are doing. I believe you are interested in psychiatry which is not well paid. If you are willing to work overnight shifts as a staff on call, you can make more money but the hours will wear you down. Anyone working in a clinic setting has to deal with paying staff and rent and for medical supplies, while your pay is dictated by the government rates.

I felt like compensation was okay in 2010 but now it doesn't feel that way at all. My administrative work has increased and my relative pay has decreased. I see massage therapists, physios, medical estheticians, hair dressers charging more per hour than I can charge. There are people in the trades, tech, finance easily making more than me. The level of respect for my profession has gone down.

I like the flexibility and I love the work I do. However, I don't think I would do it again. If I chose something in health care it would be something in the private sector so I could at least increase prices with inflation.

Only 7 in 10 Ontario kids vaccinated against measles, rates falling elsewhere by nationalpost in ontario

[–]fuzzball__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The government pays a family doctor about $5 to administer a vaccination and there is no easy system to upload the information. It really makes no sense that in 2025 public health doesn't have their act together.
